I Love Fran!!
Ok--Fran once again got up earlier in the morning than me and noticed a small mistake I had made in my previous blog. I forgot to mention one small detail about our pedicure. Fran asked for a flower on her toes and so of course I could not be outdone, so I also requested a flower. Apparently flower in Asian has many meanings because I got a cute little flower with decorations and little rhinestones. Fran, however, got some sort of seaweed/grass thing. It is on the side of her toenail and is not exactly what Fran had in mind. You can just imagine Fran's reaction too. She was like "Oh grass--I didn't know grass was a flower now." Ok--This might not seem funny to many of you, but if you have gotten a pedicure from the cute little ladies who speak little or no English and have experienced the translation problem before, this was hilarious. The lady asked her if it was ok and kept bowing her head to her seeking approval from Fran. I think she felt she had done a big artistic favor for Fran--had given her a real treat:) Fran just kept saying "Oh!! Grass. My grass is doing great!" or "I think my grass is dry already--I think we can go." It was priceless!

Sounds like so much fun! you need to pamper yourself during pregnency, cause if mamma aint happy aint nobody happy, right? I love the nursery, looks like all it is lacking is a pretty baby girl. you are getting so close, hang in there! Mijken
Yay, you're nearing the end! I bet you'll be glad to have a break from work and everything else. I hope you get to go early! :) The last is always the worst because you're too uncomfortable to get a decent sleep.
Love the nursery, and I love the pedi story! I was laughing because that happened to me and my sisters once. Too funny, and next time I'm down there I'm totally up for pedicures! I desperately need one. I wanted to get one in Utah this weekend, but my husband didn't wanna take the time, and since it was SNOWING I figured I'd wait till it was sandal weather!
Why do I always write a novel on your messages? lol! Sorry!
I thought it was a feather... but overall I though Fran's grass was nice! By the way- I'm up for a pedicure next month. :)
I call and call and no answer......:(
You guys are too funny! We are going private with our blog and wanted to add you to our invite list. Email us at kiradavid@hotmail.com so you can still view our blog!

I was laughing out loud when I read your story about pedicures! I can just picture you and Fran...too funny! I'm definitely up for a pedicure - any day of the week! :) Maybe during Spring Break?

Bad news Jess - I tried putting my camera memory card into my computer to upload my pictures from last night to send to you and my card got lost somewhere in the depths of my computer. It will be a while before I can share them with you now... :(
