Sorry Mikaela. I have no news. I thought I would include this scary picture to show everyone what I am going to look like from now on since apparently this baby is NEVER going to come out. I think she really likes it in there. I went to the doctor last Thursday and nothing exciting is happening. No dilating. No nothing. She is just chillin' I guess. I go back this Thursday, so maybe I will have better news to share.
This has been a crazy busy week though. I have been going to Connell every day for cheerleading tryouts. It was nice to get away from the house for a few hours. Also, it was my mom's birthday and then my sister's birthday--all days that it would have been fun to have the baby on.
Then yesterday Todd's Grandma and Aunt Patty came to visit. They have been snowbound in Bridgeport this winter, so it had been since Christmas. They came loaded with stuff. Todd's cousin has two little girls, and they loaded up the car with so much baby stuff, a bath seat, swing, baby food, and a HUGE box of clothes. I love free stuff:) So last night I went through stuff and held up each cute little thing to Todd and made him ooooh and ahhhh with me. I swear I think baby stuff is the cutest--I am sure it would be even cuter if I had the actual baby to put in them--so frustrating!! So to explain to Rosie why I have not been answering my phone--When I have not been coaching I have been birthday partying or wrapping presents, or visiting with family, or shopping for last minute baby stuff with Bobbie, or taking a walk (you should be proud of me for this) or occasionally napping. SORRY. I will try to be more available.
I will try to keep everyone posted, but don't assume that the baby has come because she probably hasn't!!

DARN! I'm sorry to hear you haven't had the little babe yet. Don't worry, I never dialated with McKay either...so you still have hope. He never dropped, so I guess when they don't drop, they don't push on your cervix (i know TMI) and therefore you don't dialate because it's cervical pressure that causes you to dialate. SEriously, I go off on weird tangents on your blog, sorry!
I can't wait till the little one arrives! What are you lacking in baby gear? I'm getting rid of stuff, so let me know...I've got an exersaucer and all that stuff! :)
You know Jess. I thought getting that pedicure and shopping until your feet got twice their size on Saturday, was a surefire way of getting her to come out and play. Fran & Amy had me convinced that a pedicure the day before you want to go into labor is how it works. Amy and I were talking and we need to get a poll going on when you will pop, I’m thinking April 17th the day before your doctor’s appointment, I will be over Wed. and we are going for a walk along the river (isn’t that supposed to get the little bugger moving south?)
