Ok--so apparently my daughter did not get the memo about Santa--jolly bowl full of jelly and all that:) I thought it would be sooo cute to take Emersyn to go and get a picture with Santa. She rarely cries and will pretty much go to anybody...WRONG!! Here she is in the split second before she turned around and saw that she was being held by devil.
AND THEN...
Here she is after. Seriously I thought that she was going to learn to walk and run away from him. She was heart broken. SOOO the nice people took the sad crying pictures and the poor Santa handed me back my hysterical child and then the part that really made me happy. Santa handed her a candy cane and he was then her best friend. She instantly stopped crying and even laughed a little bit. Then she was a happy jolly little elf chewing away at the candy cane like nothing had happened. Of course I had already paid the 30 bucks for the pictures and was not about to try again. SADLY--after leaving I started thinking and was like "hey I bet they will have a Santa at the ward Christmas party. I bet Emersyn could have cried on his lap for free!!!" How dumb. Here is my daughter and her candy can in the car AFTER terrorozing Santa.

It is so amazing how kids can be so scared of Santa...but, he does have all that crazy facial hair! She's still cute, even crying!

I don't blame you Emersyn...men with hair on their faces and big bellies are scary. He probably snores real loud too !? : )

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! that is SO funny! I've heard that pretty much all little kids are afraid of santa. Isn't funny how much candy can change their mood? funny stuff. I sure hope there's going to be a Santa at the ward Christmas party! It wouldn't be a party w/o santa! haha.
