Twin Falls Idaho

So I finally got a little energy and decided to share some pictures from our trip to Idaho. My cousin's son was leaving on his mission to Chile, so Mom, Grandma June, Emersyn and I took off for Twin Falls. We did not do tons of exciting things while we were there, but we ate a lot, visited with my Aunt Janet, and visited the scenic spots in Twin Falls. I also relaxed and read a book and half while we were there--so nice!!!

Here is Emeryn at the best pizza place ever. It is all you can eat and I did some major damage there. She did not care about pizza, but found the arcade pretty amusing:)

We ventured over to the falls, which were sooo cool. My Aunt said they were not as full as they have been, but they looked huge and cool to me. I was a little freaked to walk out on the ledge. I did not know I was afraid of heights, but this canyon showed me that I am!!

The bridge into Twin also showed me what a wimp I am. I had to look straight ahead when I drove over because the drop off made me want to puke a little bit.

We walked underneath the bridge, which was almost as scary as going over it. It was weird to know the cars were RIGHT above our heads.

Em needed a little break from sightseeing, so we stopped off at a park at the bottom of the canyon. She LOVED the big kid slide.

I spotted this butterfly at the park and thought it was so cool. Are there butterflies in Tri-Cities???? I don't feel like I ever see butterflies here. I am sure this is just some plain old bug or moth, but I thought it was pretty.

I decided at this point that I was so glad that I was not a pioneer because I would not want to wagon myself down this canyon to get a drink. I about lost my lunch just driving my car down the road into the bottom.

It rained and rained while we were there, but we did get ONE good clear day. Emersyn busted out her pool and took a little dip.

She made friends with a duck too:)

I guess I need to plant some flowers in my yard because Emersyn loved to smell my Aunt's roses. She spent every spare minute that she was outside smelling the flowers. She even smelled the fake flowers inside my aunt's house--what a nutty nut.

My Uncle Corey brought his grand-daughters down with him and Emersyn had a good time playing with them (after she figured out that there were two of them). Kennedy and Katori are two, but they talk like they are four and cracked me up all day. Emersyn was pretty much amazed at their hair--I think she was wondering why SHE does not have long pretty curly hair. Poor kid--slowly but surely it is coming in---SOME DAY we will get piggy tails:)

Emersyn being---EMERSYN!!

We had fun and it was nice to see all of our family. When we got home, Em was glad to see her daddy and he was for sure glad to see her. I think I could have stayed longer, but he was having little girl withdrawls. Em did great on the drive and watched lots of movies with grandma in the back seat. I was glad to be home until I realized there was nobody to cook for me and nobody to help me with Emersyn all day. Obviously being home was a big adjustment because it took me a whole week to post about our trip:) I am done being a lazy bum now and have accepted that I am not on vacation anymore.
