Today was library day. We headed to storytime with Grandma and Grandpa. For some reason Emersyn was a little shy today and was not really feeling storytime. But once it cleared out a bit she found the computers with Elmo on them. She was not so sure about the headphones, but once she realized she had to wear them in order to hear Elmo, she was all for it:) (by the way...the little girl behind Em had her shirt on inside out--it is good to know everyone has mornings like that!!!).

She is into saying "cheese" every time I try to take a picture, so we now have a lot of "cheesy" pictures of her--Oh well!! Doesn't she look like a big darn kid sitting at her computer????

This week was a week for looking back because I finally got my blog book in the mail. I had the first year of our blog printed and bound and I LOVE IT!!! It is amazing to look back at how our family has changed. I did my book through THE CUTEST BLOG ON THE BLOCK .There is a link on the side of their page for Shared Books. I love mine and am already sending off for year number two. It was so easy too--just download your blog, pick the color and cover, and write a title page---EASY AS PIE!! I just keep reading mine over and over. I always wanted to write a book and now I have:)


It took longer than a week, but I did finish my quilt for Quilts for a Cause. They sent the fabric to me, so even though I am not a fan of fairies, it was good practice and easy sewing. It really did make me feel good knowing that some sick kiddo in a hospital will cuddle up under these fairies and feel a little bit better.

I am really feeling the winter blues this week. I cannot wait for good weather and being able to stay outside all day. Anything besides watching Strawberry Shortcake and folding laundry would be a good change:)
