Sometimes I just crack up when I see little glimpses of Emersyn's personality shouting out at me---from the kitchen. Or not from the kitchen--whatever. She is just a hilarious little ball of funny-ness--I love it!! I thought I would share a few of my favorite things.
BOOTS. She loves boots. LOVES!!!!!! And it really makes 7:00 in the morning much more tolerable when she mixes and matches her boots and footie jamas. Hilarious!!!
And of course boots do NOT just go with Jamas. They also mix nicely with skirts worn as capes. Especially when you are naked. Naked Boots--Hilarious!!!
I am not sure I need to mention this, but she likes to dress herself--and undress herself. I also have a buck naked diaperless boots picture that I am choosing to keep to myself.
How many of you remember the 50 cent yard sale boots???? Well they were bought for a futuristic non existant boy child that I MAY some day have--or not. But Em has claimed them and forced her foot into the size too small little green monsters EVERY day since we bought them (usually on the wrong feet). She is one persistent little booger and she KNOWS what she wants---Hilarious!!!

Another outfit she picked out. I had her dressed all Matchy Matchy--and she hipped it up a bit with the crazy sweater and white tennis shoes. She certainly has her own sense of style. Someday she will make and excellent rock start---Hilarious!!!

She had to have this tool bench and tool set from the yard sales last week. How can you resist cheap used stuff when your kid REALLY wants it and says PEEEEESE???? So we brought it home and this is all she wanted it for--monkey moves. The tools have been tossed aside--literally and it is ONLY used for climbing and jumping---Not really that hilarious and also a little scarey at times.
Yep that is a piece of peanutbutter sandwhich on her head. Nope she does not remember it is there. I am not sure how it got there and just turned around and noticed her eating lunch with a sandwhich on her head. I asked her about it and she told me--"No samich on my head!!!" Like silly mommy--you are crazy!!! After about 10 minutes of it I grabbed the camara of course and then showed her. She just shrugged, reached up and grabbed the bread, and popped it into her mouth. Like Head Bread was totally normal to eat for lunch and she finds sandwiches in her hair every day---crazy kid!!!

On another note, I did a little remodeling to some garage sale finds this weekend. First I cut off these sweats. They were short on her and had the weird old lady cuffs. So I hacked them off and added some ribbon and now she has sweat pant capris---I am a little jealous actually and am now searching for some for me.
Even cuter when capri kid mows the lawn.
By the way this picture is her concentrating REALLY hard on walking in her new flip flops. HILARIOUS!!!
I also used THIS tutorial to make a Market Skirt. The skirt was super easy, but the pockets kicked my butt---I am not a pocket-maker!!! In this picture one pocket looks huge, but I am pretty sure they are the same size in real life--maybe I will check tomorrow:) BTW--if you want a cute and cheap skirt for your little sweety--I have some advice. I got this fabric at WalMart for 2.40 a yard (not on sale). I only used MAYBE a quarter yard of each, which means it was only about 1.20 for ALL of the fabric. I think the buttons cost about 2 bucks--MORE THAN THE SKIRT, but I thought they added a cuteness. STILL, $3.20. AND the skirt without the pockets probably took about an hour. The pockets took about 3 hours and two tries---FYI:) ♥

That is so funny that she has flip flops now. When we watched her last we went out and "mowed" the yard with her and she watched my feet more than she watched where she was going. The neighbor got his yard bubble mowed a little too...lol Cute pics. Love the capris ! : )
Emersyn seriously cracks me up! She is so dang cute and I LOVE her sense of style. Max likes to dress himself now but sometimes what he picks out isn't so cute. Oh well huh?
