Emersyn has a new best friend....BARNEY!!! First our life was ALL about Elmo. THEN we moved onto Dora and quickly onto Diego. BUT on Saturday our world came to an end when Emersyn found BARNEY. Yes I am talking about the big annoying as heck purple dinosaur. The one I hate with a hate above ALL other HATES!!!! The bad part...I was not feeling well on Saturday so we watched A LOT of Barney. Now Em says....I love Barney...Barney my favorite!!! YIKES. You mean he is gonna stay around for a while. HELP!!!
Speaking of Help...I need some. Where do all of the hours of the day go???? I have been accomplishing NOTHING and yet time keeps ticking. GRRRR!!! Lately Em and I have been talking A LOT about the new baby on the way. She is still a little un-sure about her NOT being the baby of the house. So we keep looking at her baby pictures and my BLOG BOOK from when she was born. It helps her to see her baby pictures and it helps me to imagine that I will NOT always be a whale....anyway.....
It made me sad to look at the blog book because I kept WAY better track of what Emersyn was doing and how she was changing. Lately I have been slacking in keeping track of her cuteness. SOOOO I have decided to go back to my old school blogging and mention more of her funny little day to day things. BTW...do you remember this little (big) cutie???
STARTING with some of the funnier than heck sayings......
1. "Mom you are making me CRAZY". (guess where she learned that one from????).
2. "I wanna do Craps" (aka crafts). She has become REALLY into crafts. Coloring, glue, paints, messes....she loves it. Mostly she loves glue---even eating it. BUT it still cracks me up EVERY time she says Mom I wanna do Craps......it even cracks me up typing it:)
3. "No mom I'm Busy" (too busy to help that is).
4. Knock Knock jokes. Here is her usual. "Knock Knock" Who's there?? "Orange" Orange who??? "Orange is kinda squishy" OR "Orange is kinda party" She may also trade in banana for orange....or apple for orange. BUT the punch line is pretty much the same:)
5. When she wakes up in the morning she calls out for me. "mommy....mommy....Mommy.....Mommy....MOMMY.....MOMMY....MoMmY!!!!!!!" Then when I get in there she says...."Mommy I took a good nap." That is her way of saying.......Time to get up (usually between 5:30 and 6:30----not fun).
6. Another of my favorites....."I can't like that" This is her response to EVERYTHING. Anything she doesn't wanna do or eat or watch. Like if Football is on and she wants to watch Dora...."But I can't like that football movie."
7. "But I love toooooooo" This is the response to anything I tell her not to do. Don't eat your boogers. "But I love to eat boogers!!" Not fun!!!
To be continued....... I know she says something funny about....every minute, but I just can't seem to think of them right now:)
