Pumpkin Patch

 october 002

Last night was “Emersyn Time.” (as if every day isn’t).  We took her to the pumpkin patch and she had a BLAST!!!  She ran through the straw maze, climbed the straw pyramid, was ALMOST brave enough to go through the tunnel in the straw pyramid (but not quite), jumping, running, and smiling with daddy.  What more could a kid want????

I think we were all 3 pretty impressed by the zebra----when do you get a chance to see a zebra????  AND how cute is he????  Em really wanted to feed him some hay, but the sign said to stay away in case of biting----yikes…nobody wants a zebra bite!!!  THEN…living in the same pen as the zebra was  a cute little kangaroo.  I am not sure I have ever seen a kangaroo in person before.  I am not sure what I expected either, but he was a little boring and small for me…I was expecting huge and jumping around…not so much in real life:(  He did however do ONE thing that entertained Emersyn…he ate poop.  That is the one thing she remembers about the pumpkin patch----the kangaroo ate zebra poop.  OHHH and she named him Joey---how cute is that????

She looks terrified…she is just saying CHEESE!!!!  She cracks me up with the CHEESE!!!

october 007 What good is a pumpkin patch trip without PUMPKINS!!!!  So we rode the tractor out to the patch and Emersyn got to pick out her pumpkin (or the pumpkin her dad planted in her path for her to find because it was small enough for her to lift).

THIS is the actual “pumpkin” that Em picked.  It was her maraca.  Crazy girl and her instruments!!!

Next, (as if that was not enough fun) we went to a Chinese Buffet for Todd and Grandma Doris’ birthday celebration.  THEN off to grandma’s for cake and ice-cream.

You totally nailed a fun Friday! That looked like a blast--and Chuck E. Cheese did too. Though I must say I'm kinda glad my kid has never even heard of that place! Your little boy looks like a sweetie already. :) Ultrasounds are definitely a lot of fun--I love them too!
