Christmas came and went and was GREAT at our house. This is the first year that Emersyn was REALLY excited for Christmas and Santa and Jesus and ANYTHING Christmas. I have been waiting for this for 2 years and FINALLY she gets it---YAY!!!
On Chritmas Eve we went to Grandma June’s and hung out with the family. Emersyn got to play with Kennedy, Kotori, and Creete. She NEVER stopped running!!! Except after opening her present…she painted for the rest of the night. I swear you could give this kid a color book, a pen and paper, or some paints, and she would be happy for a good 24 hours.
Christmas morning was ALL that I could have hoped for (almost). Emersyn had the big smile, the excitement, the crazy hair…everything. She even checked the cookies to see if Santa came. She was a little disappointed that Santa only took a bite out of each cookie. She wanted to know why he didn’t eat the whole thing…SILLY SANTA!!!!
I say Christmas was ALMOST perfect because…notice the cute dolly in the background???? That was the gift that I LOVED!!! Emersyn just ignored her for most of the present opening. THEN she picked her up…said she was too big…and proceeded to open the rest of her presents. I guess the cute little handmade(not by me) dolly was just not what she had asked Santa for this year…bummer!!!
After digging through A LOT of presents…Em was ready to play. Actually after EACH present she was ready to stop and play. One of her gifts was a V-motion video game. Her and her daddy broke it in. She still has not QUITE gotten the WHOLE hang of it, but she is getting better. SOON she will be getting another game for her video game…that is IF she stops peeing in her pants. WE SHALL SEE!!!
All in all it was a great morning and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
