For our anniversary Todd and I took the kids and headed to Spokane. We spent a few days there doing all of the SPOKANE-Y things.
Emersyn of course had a blast. She thought that the park was THE GREATEST!!! JUST perfect for a 3 year old!
We were VERY impressed by the Garbage Goat. Emersyn wanted her picture taken with him AND THEN decided to have a whole photo shoot. These are just a FEW (of the many) pictures of her modeling.
I think she has a BIG career ahead of her.
Todd spent the morning at the Auto Auction while Ethan and Emersyn and I hit the thrift stores...HARD:) We had fun and then had MORE fun when daddy came and we could go to the park. What is cooler than a giant wagon...nothing clearly!!!
I think she would have stayed there all day. Even with all of the naughty OLDER kids who were being bratty and driving Todd and I crazy!! These pics pretty much sum up our time at the slide.

We stayed at the Davenport and Emersyn was in love. 6 months later and she still asks when we are going back to our hotel...like we own it:)
It was so funny because when we drove up to Spokane it was late at night and the kids slept. WELL when I pulled up to the valet, I had two sleeping kids, a van full of McDonalds garbage, and a husband who was meeting us there. ANYWAY...I grabbed Emersyn out of her seat thinking she MIGHT stay asleep. NO LUCK. As soon as we got inside she opened her eyes...looked up at the HUGE amazing ceilings and almost passed out.
She turned to me and asked...."whose castle are we in??? Is it Cinderella?? Or Sleeping Beauty?? OR BELLE???" She was so darn cute.
It is an amazing hotel. And if you can make a little princess FEEL like a princess for the day....totally worth it:)
And another pose. I am not sure where she learns her modeling poses from, but this one seems to be a favorite.
Can I just say how much I love DOWNTOWN SPOKANE. I think it is soooo cute and old fashioned looking. Like a horse and carriage could come along any minute...
Speaking of cute. Have you noticed the green slime in all of the pictures...that was Emersyn's new toy. It was sooo nasty and covered with crud. BUT...she loved it.

I will have to finish up this fun post another day. Although I had dreams of being caught up for the NEW YEAR...it is not going to happen. Oh well...I am so used to being behind I wouldn't know what to do if I WAS caught up:) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
