Thanksgiving

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving this year.  Although Emersyn asked if we could skip Thanksgiving and just have Christmas instead, she was pretty excited to have a holiday.  Todd went to the Turkey Bowl to play football with the boys from church and Emersyn helped me make rolls.  It was my very first attempt at SOLO homemade rolls...I am not gonna lie I did pretty good:)
Emersyn heard that Santa was going to be in the parade and was PRETTY excited about it.  She kept running back and forth asking if he was there yet.  TWO hours of running around looking for Santa and jumping up and down when she heard he was coming... PRETTY CUTE.
She was not disappointed.  She was SOOOO happy when Santa finally arrived.  She screamed "Santa Santa He is my favorite!!!!"  Imagine all of that in the ELF (as in the movie) voice and you will understand:)

After a morning of baking and parading and fun...we headed to Justin and Kelly's house for the FOOD!!!!  Emersyn had a blast playing with Creete and the other kids.
Ethan got a little bit of attention:)
 And a little Snooze.
The kids made some crafts (Thanks to Gramma M).
I should say the kids AND TODD made some crafts.  Seriously what a good sport!!!
Nothing cuter than a kid with a Turkey on their head.  Am I wrong??
OK...maybe a kid with a turkey on their head who is hugging a roll of butcher paper given to her by Gramma Judy for some BIG coloring projects!!!
Ethan also got to show off all of his new tricks.

PRETTY proud of himself!!!  He is a climbing fool these days.  Kinda like a really cute mountain goat.  He also begged for food wherever he went.  A few days before Thanksgiving he weighed in at the doctors at 21 pounds.  I guarantee that afterwords he was at LEAST 22 pounds and pushing it!!!
And I must share the turkey butt.  MAYBE my favorite part of holidays is buying outfits with silly stuff on the butt.  It just doesn't get any cuter than a TURKEY BUTT:)
