Almost time for a BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

 SOOO it is happening.  Baby E is growing up.  Today is his ELEVEN month birthday.  YIKES.  I kind lost track of time since he was supposed to be recovering from surgery right now.  I am glad he isn't since we would PROBABLY be either stuck on the pass or stuck in Seattle right now:)  This has been a GREAT month for Ethan.  He is officially a walker.  About a week after Christmas he went from walking some of the time to WALKING ALL OF THE TIME.  He wanders ALL over our house and NEVER STOPS!!!

 He looks funny because he is soo little, but walking around.  Kind of like a little elf or something.  He just goes for it though...no more crawling for him.  He wants to do EVERYTHING Emersyn does!!!

As if walking is not enough, he is also a climber.  It is like raising a goat right now.  HE CLIMBS EVERYTHING!!!!  He even knows that if he cannot QUITE get up onto something, he just needs to grab a stool or box to crawl on so that he can reach.  I KNOW where he learned that little trick from.    Emersyn and him FINALLY play together some of the time.  Although she spends a lot of the time hiding her Barbies from him or playing in her room with the door closed, she also plays pretty well with him sometimes (when she wants to of course).  Ethan loves her to death and would follow her off a cliff if that is where she was going. 

 Sadly, he also follows me around. He wants me 99% of the day.  No matter where I go in the house, I can hear his little footsteps right behind me.  He makes trips back and forth as I carry laundry from room to room.  He follows me to the garage to dump the garbage.  He follows me to the bathroom.  Everywhere I go!!!!  Speaking of the bathroom HE LOVES THE TOILET!!!  He thinks flushing it is funny, but her REALLY loves dipping things into it.  Sadly I caught him today dipping his cracker...and YES he was then eating it!!!  I HATE the toilet stage!!! 

Ethan is ALL boy.  He instantly started playing with his BIG BOY TRUCK and pushes it all over.  He likes knocking over his sister's towers and destroying EVERYTHING.  He is like a bulldozer in our house.   Nothing is safe!!!!  He has 4 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom and HE LOVES TO BITE!!!  He also has started chewing on things...the tv stand, his crib, my sister's kitchen chairs.  He is a bit of a beaver I guess.  I cannot believe that in a month he will be ONE!!!  I miss my baby, but cannot wait to get to know this cool kid.  Happy 11 month DAY Ethan Boy!!!
