Fair Parade

Since today was the COLDEST day of winter so far.....I guess I may as well blog about the HOTTEST day this summer.   Even though we didn't go to the FAIR...we did go to the FAIR PARADE.  Emersyn thought it was great....for about the first HOUR...but then it was LONG and HOT and LONG and LONG!!!  When I three year old leaves the parade to go stand in the shade....that means the parade has gone a LITTLE long:) Here are some of my favorite shots...

They came TWICE to deliver free Otter Pops and I THINK it might have been the only thing that kept us alive.  WHO knew Kennewick could be so darn HOT!!!!????
Creet taught Emersyn that if you WAVE to the people they are more likely to throw you candy.  She became the WAVING-EST little girl you have ever seen.  She would wave and yell "HI"  "HI".   What a kid wont do for candy I guess.  AND it worked too...they thought she was cute waving and yelling....
Ethan was not so impressed this time around.  Maybe next year...
Horses and popsicles AND candy.... OH MY!!!
