The Love Hate relationship is an interesting thing. Like CHOCOLATE for example...I LOVE chocolate. It makes me happy. When I am having a bad day...chocolate is there for me. When I need a quick pick me up...CHOCOLATE. BUT then when I step on the scale...GRRRR...Chocolate!!! You see...LOVE/Hate!! Well that is what I see between Emersyn and Ethan. LOVE/HATE!! Emersyn LOVES Ethan as long as he does what she wants. AND he LOVES her as long as he can hit her, kick her, and pull out all of her hair...otherwise...
There is only one problem with this...he is growing at an incredible rate. SOON...he is going to be stronger than her and she is in TROUBLE!!! He can already take her down...when they are teenagers I imagine there will be some MAJOR wrestling matches in my home.
Sometimes she just wants a kiss...but he is not interested:)
And then things begin to get ugly. They are both SUPER stubborn (not sure where the get it) and there are some battles fought in our livingroom every day. TOTALLY cracks me up. But Emersyn USUALLY bounces right back. Her sweet little spirit does not stay down for long:)
Speaking of Emersyn...she said THE FUNNIEST thing the other day. It totally helped me understand how she feels about her baby brother.
She walked downstairs with a princess outfit on and created her own parade through the livingroom. She waved and threw imaginary candy to me. She smiled and blew kisses and was a GREAT parade princess. Then Ethan ran through. I said "Em...what is Ethan in the parade??" Without skipping a beat she said "Oh...he is just the guy that follows behind and scoops up the poop."
AHHH now I understand. LOVE/HATE....
