Think Pink!!

WOW--These days are going fast and I am not sure where the time has been going. I feel like I am running in place most days. Emersyn is as busy as ever. She is still in love with Melmo. I was not in the house for this picture, but when I downloaded the pictures off the camara I almost died laughing. I guess while I was off getting a haircut, Em and her dad were having Good Times!! This is actually her Halloween bucket, but I guess she THINKS it is her HOT (hat). My kid is cute.

Marcie and I surprised the cheerleaders with Pink Poms for breast cancer awareness month. I thought Marcie and I were excited about them, but then when the girls saw them--I was mistaken--THEY WERE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THEM:) High school kids crack me up. They are sooo easy to please sometimes--I love it.

Our stunts are still getting better and better. Sometimes I am amazed that all of these new girls are doing so well so fast. YAY us--it must be their amazing coaches:)

Saturday was Creete's final soccer game. It was freakin cold and Em was SOOOO unhappy to be outside. She did not like the cold, her hat, her gloves, or soccer. Even eating Creete's fruit snacks didn't make her happy.

I have been sewing a little too, but not getting as much accomplished as I need to. I think some people might be getting their Christmas presents in February. Here is 1 placemat I finished--only 3 more to go:(

I also made a flannel rag quilt for Bobbie Jean and Baby B. I wasn't sure when I bought the fabric, but I really liked the finished product.

It had cows jumping over moons--so cute.

I also made a baby quilt for my cousin in Twin Falls. She is having a girlie next month--Baby Sophie--and I wanted to make her something special. Bobbie made this quilt (different fabric) for Em and we love it, so I decided to give it a try. I learned that Minkee is the devil. I never want to sew with it again (except with you Emily). I had more problems putting this thing together than I have ever had. If the fabric wasn't so darn expensive it would have ended up in the trash. BUTTTT I finally finished it and I think it is pretty cute.

I pretty much LOVE the polka dot backing/binding.

Sunday was Bobbie's baby shower and Em kept herself busy by stealing a baby toy. She spotted Elmo on this toy and it was over--she had to have it. She crawled in herself and took over the walker---as you can see she is a little big!!

Someone needs to teach Bobbie the proper--not damaging way to change a diaper.

Em has started saying CHEEEEESE whenever you try to take a picture--that is why she has a CHEEEESY smile:) Franny was pumping her full of candy---thus the big guilty grin:)
