Has anyone seen my baby????

I feel like it was just a few weeks ago that I dressed Em all up in pink and made her pose for about an hours worth of pink pictures.  But this week it is really hitting me that she is growing up into such a big girl.  She is copying everything I say--in an attempt to know ALL of the words.   I think she is striving for an adult vocabulary by her second birthday--a lofty goal:)  In her quest for word domination, here are a few of my new favorites...
♥ Ansy-Ansy--Fancy Nancy (we read about her for HOURS!!!)
♥Ak-iss---as in Aticus.  All day long it is "no no Akis"  "hello Akis"  "night night Akis" "Go bed Akis" "eat treats Akis"---you get the picture
♥ This ISSSS jeperdyyyyy---She is a Jeopardy! fan all ready:)
♥Aff, Eeena, Earl, kunk, eff-unt, eye-on, Ippo, and ox---Giraffe, Hyena, Squirrel, Skunk, Elephant, Lion, Hippo, and Fox---She loves ANYTHING animal and loves to read books about "am-mals"
♥ eck-less ate-let pettttttyyyyy---She loves to try on my necklaces and bracelets and then she poses and shows off how pretty she looks---very grown up!!!
♥ Inkabell---AKA Tinkerbell
♥ Owl-Who Who---Pretty self explanatory:)
♥Berry cake--Strawberry Shortcake--who by the way annoys the heck out of me!!!
♥Eggie-bulls---Vegetables.  This is what she calls Veggie Tales:)
♥ and my ALLLLL time new favorite--Uffy Ufa Gus---Of course for the Sesame Street loving kid that would be Snufalupagus!!!!
I could go on and on with the funny words because she is probably learning new ones as I type.
She is learning new words every day and often surprises me with words I don't even know she knows.  She is constantly asking what things are and then once you tell her--she remembers.  Today we read a story about vegetables that we got at the library and she pointed to and named broccoli, potatoes, beans, peas, corn, pumpkins, and beets.  We have never eaten beets and I don't even really know what a beet looks like---maybe they showed her on Sesame Street???  She has such a thirst for knowledge--I hope it stays with her forever.  She wants me to read to her for hours and sometimes she just likes to read books to herself.  I love her desire to learn and just LOVE her period!!!!  Even though I miss the little baby of a year ago, I am so excited to meet the big girl of the future.  Look out world--Here she comes!!!

She is amazing! I was reminiscing about the baby days too--it's true what everybody tells you: It goes by soooo fast! So much fun though, I agree. And I want to hear her say "This is Jeopardy!" too! As for my kid--I just want to hear him say ANYTHING! :) Maybe Em can give him some lessons!
