Birthday Birthday BIRTHDAY!!!

Emersyn turned 2 last week and I am FINALLY getting myself to sit down and share ALL of the fun we she had:)
Yesterday we went to the doctor for her 2 year well check.  She weighed in at 28 pounds (97th%), measured 36 1/2 inches (68th %) and had a tiny little head (47th %)--ha ha!!!  She entertained Dr. Julie and showed off all of her amazingness.  She also had to have two shots--ouch.  BUT she didn't even cry---she is so tough.  She told everyone at Wal Mart about her Pokie Pokies.  Tonight while I read her stories she told me Elmo had Pokie Pokies and I had to kiss them All Better.  Then Abby got Pokie Pokies, and Rosita---well you get the picture.   Lots of Pokies and kisses.
First off for Emersyn's birthday we made cupcakes.  YEP...WE made them.  She was in charge of mixing.  She LOVED helping.  She wants to help ALL THE TIME!!!
She wants to do EVERYTHING her ELF--aka self.  She wants to dress herself, get in AND out of the car herSELF, self-Self-SELF!!!!  I like that she is growing up, but sometimes I JUST WANNA GET HER SOCKS ON QUICKLY:)
Speaking of SELF---guess who dressed her HERE???  Yep--backwards, inside out AND almost strapless--gotta love a girl with style!!
Most days Emersyn and I troop up the stairs to the guest bedroom and crank up the music.  Then we have a little dance party.  I am sometimes the partner of choice, but sometimes Dolly wins out--bummer!!
This picture is just SSOOOOO Emersyn.  She wants Atty to like her SO bad, but she doesn't make it easy on her:)  PLUS look at the little grin Emersyn has---she knows Atty is gonna get mad, but does it anyway.
Then she tries to make up for being mean by helping Atty nap.  Just in case my long-haired kitty gets too cold in our 70 degree house:)
Don't you love the pink and green socks, red and blue dress combination????  YEP---SELF!!!!
And what does a 2 year old daughter of an English teacher read????  Yep--Norton Anthology of English Literature--Upside down!!!
Emersyn had a blast at Chuck E Cheeses for her birthday.  She kept us all entertained and laughing.
Of course there was dancing with Chucky!! Check out those rockstar moves.
She played and played and played!!!
And she was the cutest little Present Opener around!!
And her birthday did not stop after ONE night--oh NO!!!!  We celebrated the next night with cake and candles.
We partied Saturday with Uncle Ryan (for his birhtday) and went bowling.  She mostly drove the video games---bowling is not really her thing I guess.
And on Sunday she got to be the BIRTHDAY QUEEN!!!  This girl is ONE lucky little sweetheart.
I love this girl and even though she is trying to Potty Train herself (unsuccessfully) these days, she still makes me happy.  Which is another funny thing she says now---Mommy I Happy Now!!!  I love that she is happy and want her to have a hundred more happy birthdays.
Goofy, Silly and Wild, but never boring---that is my kid and I love it!

Happy Birthday Emma Lemma!!!
