Potty Training Hell!!

Upon first glance this MAY appear like nothing out of the ordinary--IF ordinary is You pulling down your kiddos pants and taking pictures of their undies.  BUT look closer...YEP--undies AND diapers.  This has been coming on for a while now, but ESPECIALLY since birthday number 2.  THE DAY after Em turned 2 she refused to wear diapers.  REFUSED.  SOOOO we put on undies (aka pannies according to her) and she peed EVERYWHERE.  She would go in the potty, but also in her pants, not in her pants--whatever.  The next day I had surgery and so we just gave up for a week.  BUT my little miss opinion would still not give in unless pannies went OVER her diaper.  WELL now it has been a week and she still wants to run in and take her diaper off and potty in the toilet, so we tried the potty thing again yesterday--FOR REALS this time.

I am NOT gonna lie.  I HATE IT!!!  We go--we sit--we potty--AND WE STILL WET OUR PANTS.  Ok not WE, but still---sometimes it gets ON ME---not cool.  Today was MUCH better, but not perfect.  She made it most of the day without accidents, but ONE of the accidents was NOT a pee accident--get it????  YUCK.  I never knew that going potty was a talent----maybe I should get her lessons??????

She will get it....she is a smart girl! I told Todd to take her little potty and put it by the closet in living room (when not showing the house) so it's closer. You can have my(her) Elmo potty seat for the bathroom if you want. Right now she knows what she needs to do, it's just the control part that is giving her trouble.Hang in there !

OH the joys! We kept the little potty handy (like in the living room, kitchen, the potty just followed them around, it worked,)for my older girls, but Claire has been her own cup of tea! or should I say pee! Anyway, I have used pullups for Claire to save me from millions of accidents, I HATED pullups with my bigger girls, and never used them much, but they totally worked with Claire, you might try them? Good luck, one day you will wake up and you wont even have to think about it it will just happen, we are still waiting for that day too, I gotta keep my chin up, you too! Dont you just LOVE being a mommy!!

Good for you in starting on that journey. Josh wants me to do the same for Max and I just don't know about that. Having a newborn here soon and trying to potty train doesn't sound fun to me at all. But hopefully when the baby is a couple months old or something we can get started. Than you can give me advice.
