BIG sister!!!

Emersyn is in LOVE with her little brother.  She wants to see him when he wakes up.  She wants him to lay by her when she goes to sleep.  She wants to touch him and feed him and hug him and pet him and pretty much hang on his every move.  I was sooo concerned with her being jealous, that I never imagined how good she could be with him.  She tries to be gentle....as gentle as a 2 year old knows how to be that is.  She is fine as long as I let her feed him and burp him and watch me change him. 

She talks to him constantly and tells him what she is doing.  "Wanna watch George with me??"  "I am going to go potty now baby E-Fan."  She keeps a running commentary for him.

She really thoght he was showing her his BIG MUSCLES:)

She thought he was kinda boring just laying there.  So she tried to teach him some of her favorite tricks.  He didn't QUITE catch on yet, but I doubt she will give up:)

I bet Em kisses her baby brother AT LEAST a hundred times each day.  She kisses him and says "you're so soft baby E-Fan."  Or she pulls her stool up to the changing table and kisses him to make him stop crying when he gets his pants changed.  USUALLY it really works too. 

I think she thinks that Ethan has been given to her as a new little doll to take care of.  The other day Ethan was in his crib...just hanging out.  When I got back from the bathroom Emersyn had pulled the Bumbo chair over by the crib and was staring down at him and telling him a story.  She had grabbed his Teddy Bear that makes womb noises and turned it on and was trying to make Ethan happy.  She was very concerned that he was alone in there.  AND I am not sure how sad he HAD been, but by the time I got there she had him happy and just looking around.  I think he is as much in love with her as she is with him!!!

If I could only package their sweetness right now and keep it until they are in high school....
