Hanging out at the hospital

SOOO clearly our little man arrived and we love him and he is amazing.  Unlike many of you mommas who push your kids out, I got to spend a few days (instead of a few hours) at the hospital.  We had tons of visitors, cuddled our little cutie, ate hospital food, and hung out.  Here are a few pictures from our stay.

 Todd's family(part of them anyway) came down from Bridgeport to meet their new grandson/nephew.  Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Grandpa Jon (as oppossed to Papa Johnny who came too:))

Ethan got some good sleeping in.  When we were not being harrassed by the lactation lady (AKA the Boob Nazi), he was pretty happy just to cuddle and hang out.   He DID NOT however spend much time in his crib.  I had thought that I would try not to spoil this one by holding him as much as I did Emersyn in hopes that he would sleep on his own quicker and better than her....however he came out and that idea went out the window.  Who wants to PUT DOWN their baby???  Crazyness!!!

Creete even held still long enough to hold Ethan.  He was much more impressed with Ethan than he was with Emersyn when she was born.  I guess this time he was more prepared for the fact that they came out an infant instead of a 4 year old playmate.

I had tons more visitors, but hey...who remembers to take picture of everyone???:) Anyway....we got to know our little guy and catch up with our friends and family.  But we were for sure ready to come home and get back to real life again.

OHHH and of course the obligatory Fat Momma holding the new baby.  Like I have said before....some day I will be glad to have these pictures....BUT TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY!!!!  Although I do LOVE that it looks like I am holding a 3 month old naked baby instead of a newborn.  It is like a Soap Opera baby...you know how they always use big old 3 month old babies on tv that are all cleaned up and cute.  ANYWAY...I thought it was funny.....:)
