Can you believe it???? 2 days ago our little man turned 7 months old. SEVEN MONTHS OLD!!! AHHHH!!! When the heck did that happen??? He thinks he is 7 months going on 12 months too. He CANNOT wait to catch up with his sister. About 2 weeks ago he started FULL ON crawling. He wanders from room to room following Emersyn or Atty Cat. He was crawling backwards and in circles one day and then BAM....he took off into the next room. Today he crawled out of the bathroom while I was in the shower and by the time I found him he was out watching TV with his sister. Life as we know it over here has just gone out the window!!!!
He also popped out his first 2 teeth about a week ago. After some horrible nights awake and and some cranky crying days (by both of us), Ethan sprouted teeth and became my happy little friend again. Then about 2 days later....it all started again on the top. We are back in the awake all night club. But that is another story. If you look close you can see his two little baby teeth down there on the bottom. HOW CUTE IS THAT????
I could not decide which picture I loved the most, so I thought I would SHARE THEM ALL:) I mean really....who can resist that smile???
OHHH..did I mention that he pulls himself up to stuff also. The couch, the chair, my leg....he just wants to stand up ALL the time.
He is mostly happy...except when he IS UNHAPPY. Then he is MAD!!!!
He wants to eat ALL THE TIME. And he wants to eat EVERYTHING. IF you are eating something...he wants to be eating something. He just sits and grunts and yells until you give him something or share. He LOVES rice crackers and eats about 10 a day. He likes anything he can hold and put in his mouth himself. He super dooper loves yogurt bites and puffies and right now his favorite favorite is small bites of banana. He is starting to be a baby food snob----he really wants to eat food you can chew. He has eaten apples, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, peaches (not a fan), and carrots.
He loves to snuggle, cuddle, and sleep next to his momma. He is a big fan of me....not gonna lie.
He is a major flirt. He totally makes googly eyes to ALL old ladies at the grocery store and smiles at EVERYONE he meets. He is gonna be OUT OF CONTROL cute as a teenage boy. Watch out girls...that is all I can say about that.
Ethan is SUPER in love with his sister. He ADORES her. Worships her. Looks at her like she walks on water. He laughs at her silly jokes. He plays Barbies with her. He pretty much does whatever she says (we kinda all do though). He gets bummed when we drop her off at pre-school and LIGHTS UP when we pick her back up. HE LOVES HER MORE THAN CAKE!!!
I love to watch them together. He is happiest when she is around. She is so sweet with him. They hug and wrestle and play. It melts my heart. My ALL time favorite sound in the world is to hear Emersyn sing Ethan a song....2nd only to the out of control laugh he saves ONLY for her. These two bring out the best in each other....and really lets be honest.....they are the best of me too.
Ethan is a hugger. He gives GREAT hugs.
The past 7 months has had some ups and downs and really really far downs, but it has been great. I am so glad that we have this sweet little man in our family...he brings us joy every day. AND even though I swear that every night he turns into another person....a hateful, mean, whiner.....every morning when I wake up and see his big smile I MELT. He usually wakes up in my bed next to me and I get to enjoy that first big smile, a big kiss, and a pat on the face. I guess he is lucky he is so darn cute in the morning because he is NOT CUTE at 3 in the morning:)
This last picture is MY KIDS. Just the way they are. My happy beautiful boy and my goofy off the wall girl. I love them. I love them. I love them.
