Emersyn has been waiting for this day for....probably her whole life. She has been asking about pre-school and waiting for it to start all summer. Yesterday was finally the day. She woke up, and put her backpack on....all ready to go by 7 o'clock:) YEP....backpack and nightgown...doesn't get much more DIE HARD pre-school than that!!! BTW...don't judge my dirty t.v. stand. I didn't know it was quit so discusting until I saw that picture---YOWZA...rough summer.
A combination of my camara being on a funny setting and some bright sunshine made my pictures look like POO. I will be trying again on the SECOND day of pre-school tomorrow. Leave it to me to not notice how crappy they were until I downloaded them. Poor little ghost girl. ANYWAY.. she looked cute and was BEYOND excited. She kept telling me HURRY WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE.
Emersyn was determined to take her lunchbox in her backpack. What does a 3 year old pack for lunch??? Fruit snacks (2 packs), a granola bar, and a fruit roll up. She also packed her favorite Barbie (just in case she said) and her scissors. I think she would have packed her WHOLE room if her backpack had been bigger.
Check out that Pose!!!! Pretty cute for a washed out ghost girl huh???
When I dropped her off, she RAN inside the gate, RAN up to the teacher, RIPPED off her backpack, SPUN in a cirle, HANDED her backpack to her teacher, and then RAN inside. She just had ALL the energy but din't quite know what to do:) She had no interest in hanging out with me though, so I decided to leave. I could barely coax her into giving me a hug. The other kids were crying or holding onto their mommy's legs with a death grip. NOT Emersyn. I am not sure she even noticed me leaving.
When I picked her up she would not tell me how school went. She said it was a secret. I guess that should prepare me for the teenage years. She also told me that she hated boys. Not Daddy because he is an adult and not Ethan because he cannot walk yet, but all other boys. She does not want to play with boys at school....or the girl who cried all day. I guess I cannot argue with that.
I hope she loves school as much on day 2 tomorrow and then for the next 13 years....
