Chrismas Lights at the Perkins' House....seriously!!!

Emersyn and her dad set out on this BLACK FRIDAY morning to buy some Christmas lights.  Shocker I am sure for those who know Todd.  He has NEVER agreed to put lights up.  In fact he REFUSES to put them up.  He thinks that less is more when it comes to decorating.  PLUS the effort out in the weather...not gonna happen. 

BUT I guess I had the wrong strategy for the past few years.  I didn't realize all I needed was a cute little 3 year old smile.  NOW I KNOW.  When I asked Em what kind of lights they were going to pick out she said PINK AND PURPLE...like a princess house.  I am pretty sure her and her father have very diffferent views of what they will be creating today....

I wonder who will win....I imagine she is currently trying to talk him into buying a GIANT blow up Santa kneeling next to an ENORMOUS plastic Jesus!!!!!
