Happy 9 month Birthday!!

Today my baby turned 9 months old. I know it is cliche, but where the heck did the time go???? She is becoming a "big girl" right before my eyes. She amazes me every day with her charming personality and bright smile. She is so happy and wants to know and do everything--all at once:) She continues to get better at the whole sleeping thing (slept till 3 this morning in her crib) and even is improving on naps (2 hours in her crib this afternoon). I think she knew it was her birthday and wanted to act grown up!!! Actually I don't care what the reasons are, sleep is good. This week we go to the doctor and I will pass on her stats (cause I know you are so interested:))
There are many new things that Emersyn has begun doing, but here is the short list:
1. chasing the cat from room to room to room for hours (and I swear she says kitty--although in my brain I know she doesn't)
2. remembering where things are (like where I hide the remote from her) and trying to get them at all costs
3. eating chunky food (even the chunks that she up till now spit out)
4. balancing on her own for a few seconds
5. voicing her opinion--loudly--she knows what she wants when she wants it!!
6. sharing her food--even the baby food that is in her mouth--she thinks everyone wants a bite
7. feeding herself--not with a spoon (obviously) but with her hands
8. entertaining me--she is like my own personal trick monkey--she makes me laugh all day (except when I am crying or yelling)

Ok Marcie--here is the finished product. As you can probably tell, I still need to work on my binding skills too, but I think it is pretty cute. I know I learned a lot of NOT TO DOS on this project and I know I could do way better next time. Someday maybe I will actually make something worth giving away:)



Well--that is what we have been up to. I thought I better update my blog so that I would not be harassed by my friends (not naming any names). :) Tomorrow we are headed back to Craft Warehouse with Amy and Laney, so I hope to find something fun to do. Maybe I can work on projects during nap time now since my hands wont be full--Oh the freedom!!!
