Emersyn's favorite part of the fair was---once again---FREE. She loved the balloon with the rubberband attached. She thought it was the GREATEST. We spent a good part of the time in the grass letting her chase/kick/chase her balloon.
Did I mention she LOVED her balloon????
We also met up with this cute cowgirl (wearing her cute cowgirl outfit from Gymboree that Amy and I forced Franny to buy at the outlets).
And that sweet little cowgirl let my little city girl borrow her hat.
For about a minute.
Emersyn kept pushing this little goats head back into the cage and telling him "no no." She did not want him chewing on her wagon. I think she was about to give him a spank--I don't know where she learns these things:)

Where did the sheep go???? She was SOOOO happy to pet the sheep, but then they would move away from her and she was so confused. Like "hey sheep--I thought we had a deal????"

And of course we did all of the fair things---rode the carousel, ate an elephant ear, chased Creete around the carnival, decided we were tooooo small for all of the fun fair stuff again this year, decided to come back when we are bigger next year....

Are we going home yet??---I don't care that there are ducks and donkeys and chicks!!!

Yep--even toooo small to bounce. Auntie Jen gave her a good bouncing on the outside of the house. I guess I should be glad she can still be entertained for free:)

I had to include this picture of Creete on his leash just because I thought it was soooo funny. It really did keep him from running off though--well obviously because it IS a leash!!!
We stuck to the cute and cuddly bunny. I am pretty sure I NEED a bunny. I would love him and feed him and name him Mr. Snuffles--or some other equally ridiculous bunny name.
SOOOOO that was our fair adventure for the year. It always seems like it is going to be so much fun and then it never quite is all that I remember it being. I guess it is all about the kids RIGHT???
