Love Hate Relationship:)

Emersyn and Delaney....Delaney and Emersyn. It is hard to put their relationship into words. A few words come to mind.....Love and Hate. Emersyn wakes up in the morning asking for Laney. Today when we stopped at Craft warehouse she yelled for Laney (she is used to going there together). She knows Laney's car when it drives up next to us. Laney is right up there with Elmo.....Sometimes!!!!

All relationships have their ups and downs, but these two travel up and down a mile a minute. They make each other laugh one minute and cry the next. They hit each other, hug each other, throw things at each other, and feed each other snacks. They steal from each other and play together. It is like friendship bi-polar with these two!!!!

Although they do not LOVE to share their toys with each other, they have found a happy medium. Sharing toys that belong to NEITHER of them. Here they are admiring the Elmo laptop at Burlington. They were both amazed. Now this toy belongs to Laney...and has lost a little bit of the charm for both of them:)

Emersyn has lived all of her life as an independent girl. She doesn't get very cuddly or like to be touched and loved on that much. On the other hand....Laney. She is a cuddle bug. This causes some periods of discussion between her and Em. Things start off good...hanging out in the toy box together----HAPPY DAYS.

I think Laney thought if she gave Em heart compressions that her heart would grow and she would learn to love. She would really like Em to just follow along and let her baby her----like her doggys do at home:) I guess she needs to get Em a leash!!

Proof that there are sometimes happy endings in life.

I am not sure what this relationship will be like in the future. Elementary buddies??? High school friends??? BFF's???? OR Junior high fights???? Keyed cars???? and jealous rage over a boy??? Who knows with these girls. The only thing I know for sure is that THEY will make up their minds about what they like and will not allow Amy and I to dictate any of their choices to them. These 2 know what they want when they want it. I guess it might be both fights and BFF's. Amy and I during high school---not friends. Amy and I now----together about 3 or 4 days a week. Girls....you just never know what they will do!!!
