WHEEEE!!!

I am sooooo happy that my sister and Creete are on Spring Break this week.  I love spending time with them and NEVER get a chance to just hang out with them.  Usually it is Chrismas or some  busy family get together and we don't get to just relax and hang out.  Thursday Jen took the day off of work so that she could spend the day with Creete (and us).  We crammed the day with so much fun that poor Emersyn is still a little groggy:)
First Em and I started with a photo shoot.  I made this little handkerchief skirt for her and made her hold still for 2 seconds while I snapped a couple pictures---doesn't she seem thrilled????  I used THIS tutorial and LOVED it.  I think there are 2 little Wieseler gals who will be getting a bandana skirt this summer.  I am picturing 3 little hankerchief girls running around the fair--CUTE!!!!
Next we headed to the library for story time (which was actually cancelled--bummer).  So we hung out and played with toys and looked at books.

I love that Em tries to be big and play on the computer but doesn't QUITE get it:)
Next, we headed outside to the park.  Of course Em was in love with the slides--they are her favorite.  All the way down---EVERY TIME--she says WHEEEEEEEE!!!!  Totally worth watching!!
Hello in there:)
She made friends with some little girl.  This picture is just so EMERSYN.  She likes anyone who will play with her.  She ran around holding this little girls hand and LAUGHING her head off.  It always cracks me up that kids just don't understand bounderies or strangers---kids are just kids:)
We switched to another park to have a picnic AND try out the swings.  None of the parks around us has swings, so Em was HAPPY to get a chance to swing---AND on a big girl swing.
And GUESS WHAT???? Wheeeee---she would say WHEEE when she would swing up and Wheeee on the way back.  FUNNY Girl!!
I even got in on the swinging action.  I love acting like a kid once in a while.
WHEEEEE!!!

Papa Johnny was of course Emersyn's personal slave.  "Push me Papa" "Help me Papa" "Slide Papa" "PAPA!!!!!"  And of course he did whatever she said---even let her walk up the slide.

Creete and Em are so funny together.  When she was born he was mad at her because she could not play with him. He didn't want anything to do with her because she was NO FUN!!!  Then he was pretty jealous of her because he was no longer the only grandchild.  Now they can play and run and chase each other and I LOVE IT!!!  Cousins are fun and I am glad Emersyn has one to play with.

I don't know who got more tired--the kids or the grown-ups????  It is hard work going up and down the ladders and pushing the swings:)

I guess Em got the most tired ♥  She was out before we got out of the parking lot.  That was only the first HALF of our fun day too.  After the kids napped, we drove to Hermiston and helped Todd at the dealership.  He is in the process of moving into a Newer/Bigger place.  Jen got to drive all of the new cars to the new lot, Creete got to wash windows, Dad got to hang out with the kids, Em got to watch Elmo, Todd got lots of "helpers," and I got credit for helping out---everyone was happy.  It was a hilarious drive though.  My dad kept asking if we HAD to listen to Elmo the whole way.  Emersyn kept crying because she was still tired from the park ( I literally took her from her crib when she woke up and put her into her carseat). Jenny talked non-stop (have you met my sister---CHATTY!!!).  AND Creete kept asking "Are we there yet?????"  It was a total MOVIE moment.  I just drove and laughed.

I am glad that we got to take time out of our busy lives and just PLAY.  Emersyn and Creete are growing up fast and I am glad we got to enjoy them for a day.  I need to remember to take these moments and forget about grocery shopping and spring cleaning and JUST PLAY!!!!  I want Emersyn to remember that her mommy had fun with her and not that mommy cleaned and cooked (not she has seen much cleaning lately).  I know we made some memories and I cannot wait to do it again!!!
Happy Easter Everyone.  Don't forget to make some memories of your own ♥
