My family is pretty darn lucky to live about 3 houses away from the Columbia River. We LOVE to take walks on the walking path and Em loves to go and see the horses. Todd and I had a bright idea the other day to take a walk the OTHER direction from our norm. BAD IDEA and GOOD IDEA.
Bad idea because we were walking INTO the sunshine AND it was still like 90 degrees out. NOT A HAPPY LITTLE BOY IN THE STROLLER!!!
Good Idea because we got to hang out at the park and enjoy our little family.
You just CANNOT beat the view either =)
I guess it is pretty clear that my kiddos kinda like this guy....even if he cooks them at the park!!!
I had a good time trying to take a few good pictures and Em had a good time being a MODEL. She LOVES to have her picture taken. And darn it...I never get sick of taking her cute little picture!!
Ethan must have REALLY wanted his picture taken too because he even sat up all by himself long enough for me to take a picture. He did face plant into the grass RIGHT after I took it, but hey everyone has to sacrifice...right???
I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. Even with 2 crying kids ALL the way home in the stroller and a bit of heat stroke, I was still able to enjoy the beautiful river.
Well thank you....we WILL come again soon!!! =) Maybe in the fall......
