Life Lessons

You know when you catch your kids doing something REALLY naughty and you just DON'T know how to react???  WELLLLLL...this was not one of those times. 

 Sunday morning I "caught" Emersyn teaching Ethan the names of the prophets out of Todd's church book.  And Ethan was REALLY listening to her. 

WELL he was until I showed up at least.  She would say....."This is President Monson...he is our favorite.  This is President Hinkley...He lives in Heaven with Jesus."  SOOO precious!!!!

After I stopped taking pictures she was teaching him ALL sorts of stuff.  She taught him about Adam and Eve....."This is Adam and Eve.  They lived in the Garden and ate bad fruit.  I would not have eaten the fruit because I am a good girl."  And then there was her lesson about Jesus...."Jesus lives up in Heaven.  We cannot go and see him EVEN if we REALLY REALLY want to." 
She has REALLYhad an interest in Heaven lately.  When she swings she wants to be pushed higher so that she can go and visit Jesus.   She talks about Heaven like it is Oregon and we just need to take  a day trip to go and hang out with Jesus.  I love the innocence of childhood. 

I also LOVE that Ethan is hugging his kitty cat.  This makes me VERY happy;)
