Hair Cut DAY!!!

Today was HAIR CUT DAY!!!   Ethan has been needing a hair cut BADLY!!!  Since the front of his head was shaved when he had surgery, but the back was not...he had a bit of a mullet.  Emersyn wants to look like Rapunzel, so she was not REALLY wanting to get her hair cut. 

As you can tell, Ethan was not so sure about the whole "sitting still" part of the process.

And getting a picture of him was NOT easy.  I cannot imagine trying to cut hair on my little busy body!!

 He was NOT interested in the steering wheel or buttons.  He was NOT interested in watching Toy Story.  He was NOT interested in somebody touching his head.  All in all HE WAS NOT interested. 

 He DID manage to hold still long enough to watch a little ELMO, but NOT FOR LONG!!!

I wasn't able to get him still long enough to take an AFTER shot, but here is the main idea:)  No more side burns.  No more duck tail.  No more baby hair:)   He is a TOTAL big boy now.  If you look close, you can see how AWESOME his scars have healed up.  Just a light zig zag under there...AMAZING!!! 

Emersyn was a different story!!!  She was sweet, happy, and calm.  I know I am biased, but she is such a little sweety.  I don't just LOVE this girl, but I really LIKE her too.  She is like my mini BFF!!!

ANYWAY....She got a good washing. 

 She followed instructions like a champ.  She got about 3 hairs snipped.  And she still has her long Rapunzel hair. BUT she got her bangs braided and some hair glitter, so it was worth it:)  I am not sure I will WILLINGLY get her to wash her hair for a while....she REALLY likes the glitter!!!

All in all these kids had a busy day.  Shopping, haircuts, playing in the yard, a trip to Toys R Us, a walk down to the river, AND racing our new remote control fire truck in our neighborhood!!!  We were SOOOOO ready for Spring!!!
