Wacky Weather Week!!

We have been having some wacky weather around here.  One night I went to bed expecting another day as usual...and woke up to SNOW!!!  LOTS OF SNOW!!!  We were NOT expecting snow...we were expecting SPRING!!!  Ethan had already grown out of TWO snowsuits this winter, and I didn't think I needed to replace it....WRONG!!  I had to dig out Emersyn's pretty purple one...haha.  Someday he will hate me, but he was SUPER happy to get out there in the snow.

 I know he looks like he is NOT enjoying himself, but it was the CUDDLES he didn't like, NOT the snow.  He LOVED the snow.  It was his first time WALKING in snow and he was HILARIOUS:) 

Emersyn built her VERY FIRST snowman.  She was SOO darn excited for the little two foot man.  She thought it was the greatest!!!  And it was a darn good thing we happened to have a nasty old carrot in the fridge because she KNEW you could not make a snowman without a carrot nose...SO FUNNY!!

Ethan mostly walked around...ate snow...and laughed.  Even Atty Cat joined the fun!!!

By the time they woke up from their afternoon naps most of the snow...and sadly so was Kabasa (the snowman).  I guess Winter needed ONE LAST Hurrah before Spring could arrive!!!

BUT then once the snow left and the wind blew for a few days.....SPRING came on in. 

 Ethan could NOT be more thrilled.  He LOVES being outside.  He got a new toddler swing for his birthday (post on that to come later) and just swings and laughs.  He thinks he is the coolest little BIG kid around. 

 We had so much fun being out of the house.  We even started a little yard work.  I got a total FLASH FORWARD to what this summer will be like.....Emersyn helping me to weed and digging up dirt with her mini shovel while humming...AND ETHAN...eating sand, pulling out plants, standing on top of our lawn furniture, trying to climb UP the slide, and terrifying me every second.   It will SURE be different having a boy around this year!!!

We are so happy for spring to come.  The HELL hour between 5 and 6...while we are ALL waiting for daddy to get home...IS MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE when we are outside.  I truly LIKE these cute kids a little more when we can play outside for an hour...HAPPY SPRING!!!
