After all of the PRE-HALLOWEEN fun at our house, by the time Halloween actaully rolled around we were too tired to really care. BUT I had eaten most of the trick-or-treat candy, so we decided we needed to get out of the house.
Here is how our alligatore felt about Halloween...
And that was that. He was not into costumes. Not into carrying buckets. Not into the holiday in general. Emersyn on the other hand knew what was coming!!! She had her bag READY!!
I just LOVE this girl. She gets so excited about everything still. I think 4 years old is the PERFECT age for holidays. They LOVE all of the fun stuff!!!
Almost 2 is NOT the greatest age for holidays. Especially when they HATE riding in the carseat with a head and tail!!! He was an angry alligator!!
As soon as we did the usual CAR trip...to aunts and uncles and friends...we headed back home for our neighborhood route. THEN Ethan figured it out....Run through people's yard, bang on their door, reach for their bucket, and empty all of their candy into YOUR bucket...He caught on REALLLL quick!!!
We FINALLY finished off all of the candy...except for the stuff we made daddy take to work (so mommy could still fit in a few of her clothes). BUT Ethan still stands under the fridge looking up to the secret candy hiding spot on top HOPING that there just might be ONE MORE SUCKER....
