Reindeer Games

Well Christmas is fast approaching and I am trying to create memories (cram a bunch of fun activities into too little time) for my kiddos. 

I saw that the reindeers were back at Beaver Bark this year and thought that the kids would LOVE to see them.  First off because Ethan LOVES animals.  And Secondly, because Emersyn LOVES Christmas magic.  BUT like most of my other ideas...kind of a bomb. 

 They were both too scared to go close to the reindeer....YES even with a fence. 

 We were there a total of 2 minutes before Emersyn said...LET's go look at something else.  AND Ethan clung to his dad and would not even LOOK at the reindeer...bummer...maybe next year. 

 SPEAKING of next year....Emersyn also thinks she MIGHT be ready to see Santa NEXT YEAR.  She is still too scared this year.  She is 4 1/2 and doesn't even want to ATTEMPT to see Santa.  The ONLY picture I have of her and Santa is from when she was 6 months...and she is screaming frantically. She says she doesn't mind NOT seeing him as long as he still brings her presents...I guess she has a good point:)

SOO my kids do not like PEOPLE dressed up like animals....OR real animals....BUT fake animals are ok....who knew????

 They were WAY more excited about this stuffed dog than the REAL reindeer outside...whatever!!

 The dog even got a smile out of cranky pants!! (Ethan not Todd!!)

 BTW...there was no sign telling what the reindeers names were, but Emersyn decided it was Comit and Cupid.  WHY????  Because Cupid rhymes with STUPID.  I guess we will skip that particular activity next year!!!

 My Paparazzi party cancelled for Friday, so I got to take Emersyn to dance class (usually her dad takes her).  There is nothing that makes me happier than watching four year olds do ballet!!!

 I got to sit outside...thus the fuzzy through the glass pictures.  Emersyn kept peaking out and giving me little waves.  It was by far the BEST part of my day!!!

We got to order her costume for their recital and GUESS WHAT???  She gets to be Cinderella!!!  How cute right???  Her class will be dancing to Bippity Boppity Bo ALL DRESSED UP LIKE CINDERELLA!!!  I can hardly wait for spring to come just to see it!!
