OK..so it is no secret that the library is like Disneyland for me. I loved the library and the Bookmobile growing up, and I STILL love getting new books each week. LOVE IT!!! Since Emersyn was a baby we have tried to go to storytime and get new books and movies to last us through the week. Our Wieseler friends have joined up, and they all have a great time at the library...all except Amy and me that is;)
Last week was BLOCK PARTY at the library. They have 5 or 6 kinds of blocks out and the kids get to build to their hearts content. FUN FUN!!!
Ethan was the LEST POPULAR kid at the party. He was DEMOLITION MAN!!! The kids would see him coming and brace themselves for a WRECK!!! He thought it was fun...the other kids DID NOT!!!
I love to see these little girls and their books. It will be great this year as they both learn to read. I can just imagine them reading and talking about Anne of Green Gables and The Secret Garden some day....how cute will they be!!!
Ethan is not a HUGE fan of story time. A few weeks back he thought he would be brave and join the kids on the stage for dance time...as soon as the music started he changed his mind...
Apparently it was too much for those two little cuties!!! This week he decided he was big enough to go up front and sit with the kids (instead of on my lap), but they he snuck up onto the stage and danced behind the librarian who was reading stories. SOOO he thinks that you DANCE during reading time and SIT QUIETLY during dancing time...I don't know about this kid!!
The experience for the girls is EXACT OPPOSITE of the library experience for the boys. They like to play together SEPARATELY!!
Every time we drive over by the water towers Emersyn tells me....SOME DAY there will be a brand new library by those towers mom. I CANNOT WAIT. A brand new library in west Pasco...HEAVEN!!!
Because when these two learn to read...we will REALLY need to have a library close by. AND NO we do NOT know that boy..he just wanted in the picture:)
