My little sweetie turned 3 months old today!!! I cannot believe it, why am I still fat?? Just kidding. She has grown so much and this past week she has had many big milestones in her development. I am a little jealous after reading Shanae's blog and watching her little boy laugh and laugh. She has only had a big belly laugh once. It was 4 in the morning and she was laying in her crib playing and waiting for me to come and feed her. When I reached in to grab her, she let out a big laugh. It melted my heart. But I wanna hear her do it MORE!!!
She also has started loving her toys. She swings in her swing. She laughs while swinging, but no sound comes out. She just grins and grins and silently laughs. Maybe she is laughing on the inside.
I tried to weigh her on our home scale by weighing myself and then weighing us. The best I could get and guess was that she weighed over 14 pounds. I almost cried the other day when we used her last number 1 diapers and started on number 2's. What a big girl. I don't know how long she is, but she is TALL. Her legs are so long that when she stands up, she seems like a nine month old baby--I agree with Mikaela.

Another new thing for her is how much she plays. She wears herself out. She grabs for her toys and trys to get them into her mouth. She lays on her blanket and tries so hard to get to things that are out of her reach. It must be so frustrating to have to just lay there---like a turtle on your back. She has surprised herself a few times by rolling herself over from her stomach to her back. She is trying really hard to go from her back to her stomach, but she cannot get her head around. She gets her whole body over, but her neck just is not strong enough to haul that big head over. She gets a little frustrated, but I tell her that she has lots of time to grow up:)
She is always moving. Her little legs are never still. It has even effected her sleep. She used to go to sleep between 7 and 8 at night and not wake up until between 2 and 5. But now she wakes up a few times during the night and when I look in on her, her legs are straight up in the air and she is smiling. I think she just can't wait to play some more--Her little legs must just pop up and wake her up. I think it might be baby restless leg syndrome.

I am slightly embarrassed about this picture. YES--this is my baby girl watching The View. She loves to watch TV. I promise that we also read stories together, but I think she likes TV better:( I mean look around my livingroom floor. There is every toy she could ever want, but she would rather hang out with Barbara Walters. I hope this is temporary, but I do think this is the cutest picture. She looks like a such a big kid though.

So these are her new tricks and she is very proud of them. I cannot believe all of the changes in the last few weeks, but it has been fun.
