Tummy Time

Today Emersyn finally decided that her toys were kinda fun. Up until now, every time we showed her a toy, she got overstimulated. She would just lay there for two minutes with huge eyes and then scream for 15 minutes until I put her to sleep or went and sat in the dark bathroom. I know--gross, but it is the only room in the house without a window, so I go there when she wont go to sleep. But today she was having a blast. She only lasted about 2 minutes on her tummy before she couldn't hold her head up, but she loved being on her back. She got the left hand going right away, but it took a while for the right hand. She only figured that our after a long time of grunting and groaning and concentration. Does that mean she will be a lefty??? Weird!!





She was so proud of herself when she would hit the toys that she would get a big huge ole grin. It was the sweetest. I am hoping she is over the OVERSTIMULATED thing. Maybe she will like carseats, toys, music, playing--and if I am lucky--even naps:)
