We have been busy busy over the last week or so. First we had cheer pictures. I was so glad to see PEOPLE again. I needed out of the house. It was fun to see my girls. Thankfully Marcie took some pictures for me. Seriously--what would I do without my Marcie??? Emersyn was so funny. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson got her this cute little skirt, so I thought she HAD to wear it to be in the cheerleading pictures. So don't judge me--I didn't go out and buy something new:) I would have though--maybe!! She also had a cute little baby pom pom, but somehow it didn't show up in any of the pictures--go figure.

The girlies love her and pass her around pretty good. Sara has always been a big fan. She was the first student to come see us in the hospital when Emersyn was born. Now that is dedication!!! Emersyn has kinda become the cheerleading mascot.

Then for 3 days we had cheer camp. I would have included a picture of the girls in an awesome stunt, but we didn't really get that far yet. But they are all sweet girls and if cuteness helps in stunting, they will be great:) Marcie and I had some good chatty chat time. It was nice to be back in the loop again.
My Aunt Janet and cousin Marcie--from Twin Falls (mijken)--got Emersyn this outfit and I have been waiting for her to be big enough to wear it. I loved the hat and Emersyn had a bit of a photo shoot. I kept taking pictures pretty much all day. Lucky for you I only included a few. It may seem like lots of pictures, but trust me--there were lots and lots!!!
OK--so I think my baby is cute....moving on. Like I have mentioned before, Emesyn has loved watching the Olympics. I think she has watched a little too much gymnastics though because she is rolling all over the place. She has been officially rolling over from her back to her stomach for about a week now and she doesn't wanna stop. Whenever I put her down she is rolling. This is unfortunate for me because now she rolls on the changing table and I have to strap her into her bouncy chair. When Fran first gave me the chair to borrow I saw the straps and thought " why would a baby chair need straps?" Oh was I naive:) Here are her latest attempts to win the gold medal for gynmastics.
Yes she is doing a bridge off of her chair and her mother is taking a picture and not stopping her. I got her before any major damage was done, but she was pretty proud of herself!!! Then she moved on to bigger and better things. My sister sent over her Jumparoo for Emersyn to try out. I wasn't sure she would like it because she was so small, but WHY DID I WORRY??? She was instantly in love. She can't bounce it yet, but she loved thinking that she was standing. Plus it lights up and plays music--SCORE!! She was still wearing her Tigger pjs and her bib looks more like a cape, but Hey--she was rockin'!!

OK--moving right along. Today Fran, Gracelyn, Kraeton, Amy, Delaney, Emersyn and I ventured out to the fair. She didn't know what to think about all of the people, but she jumped in with both feet and wasn't scared at all. First she checked out the sheep. She thought she was such a big girl standing on the sheep pen. COOL TRICK!!

Doesn't Franny need another baby girl??? She looks like she could handle it right???
This is how Emersyn spent much of her time at the fair. This was the first time she sat in her stroller without the infant seat and she was a BIG fan. She loved watching all of the people (and animals) run by. She was too pooped to enjoy the cows, pigs, and bunnies, but woke up to the sounds of chickens. She was still half asleep, but I thought she needed to pet the cute little chicken. She wasn't a big fan, but she humored me.
She didn't even make it over the cable bridge before she pooped out. GOING TO THE FAIR IS HARD WORK. Every time I go to the fair I remember all of the fun times we had every summer at the fair. What I can't figure out is why our parents let us go????

Here is my little girlie once again watching television. This time she was watching Dr. Oz and learning what shape her poop should be. I am glad she likes Oprah--at least she has good taste:)

Tomorrow we head back to Connell for cheer practice and more fun times. I cannot believe how fast the summer has gone by and how fast Emersyn is growing up. I packed up some of her baby clothes last night and almost cried when I saw her little newborn clothes. Was she ever so tiny???

ok so first of all, I'm really really really jealous of the cheerleaders 1.because they get to see you every day, and 2. because they get to play with Emersyn all the time.... she's getting huge! So fun Jess!! :)
Cute, cute, cute!! Emersyn is to die for. You just can't beat a baby girl, I'm excited to have one of my own. It was great to see you at the reunion, it really was a fun time.
