Fair time!! Again!!

So our family decided to head back to the fair on Saturday. We thought since Emersyn was feeling a little better it might be fun. Plus I was going a little stir crazy. We may have been wrong about Emersyn being better (oops) but we had a little fun. I had to include pictures of these cute little baby pigs because I LOVE BABY PIGS!!


I know Emersyn will have a much better time at the fair next year, but she did have a few happy moments. She liked to people watch--there are lots of freaks at the fair.


Lucky for us Creete picked up this big blue balloon. We got to carry it around all day because he was TOO BUSY to slow down for one second. He had a good time. Emersyn thought she wanted to play with the balloon, but wasn't quite sure what to do.


My big baby had to show off his skills of course. He was a little bored in the kiddy carnival I think. Creete went for a pony ride and Grandpa Johnny thought that Emersyn needed to ride the pony too.







Creete man ran through the fair like a crazy person on crack, but he did take a few seconds to ride a tractor. By this time Emersyn had seen enough of the fair. She did have a good time playing in the cinnamon and sugar on the elephant ear. Only a few people thought I was harming her in some way by letting her get sticky, but I mean come on--who REALLY lets a three month old eat an elephant ear????




Is he not the cutest thing in the world?? He found a little guy to hang out with and ride the rides with him. It was so cute. He told the kid "you are my best friend now." He thinks everyone is his best friend and there are no strangers!!! All in all it was a long hot day, but there were some good moments. I am not sure why I loved the fair so much when I was younger. I think it was because Fran loved it so much and it just rubbed off onto my through osmosis. Or maybe it was because I got to be around baby pigs. Who knows, but it doesn't have quite the same effect as it used to. Maybe next year!!
