cheerleaders and football and pumpkins--OH MY!!

So this was a very busy weekend. Of course it does seem that when you have to drag a little one along, a trip to the bathroom makes it a busy weekend. ANYWAY---We had the little cheer clinic on Friday. Emersyn already knew the dance:) so she didn't have to practice--so she got to hang out with the cool coaches and play with the poms. She totally wants to be a cheerleader--not a congresswoman or lawyer or something crazy like that;)


Of course like ALL things, they went right in the mouth.

Here are the hot CHS cheerleaders after their hard day of chasing after the little girls. Marcie found the design for the shirts and had them made and I have to say that I love them. Yellow makes me happy.

It was predicted to be a cold night, so we had to bundle and bundle and bundle Emersyn up. Here she is taking a moment to show off her piggy pajamas.


Franny came and kept us company at the game. Well--I guess Jake came too, but Gracee was the cutest. I loved her hat. She loved the M&Ms her grandma was sneaking her. I love her guilty look and her chocolatey face. What a cutie face;)

Once again Emersyn was a party pooper. Football is just too late and too cold for her. I think next week she might spend a little quality time with grandma where it is warm.

She was back to her old self though by Saturday. We headed over to Grandpa Johnny's garden. He grew a pumpkin for Emersyn and had been waiting for us to come and claim it.

Once again Uncle Muscles was a big hit. Creete wanted Emersyn to go away because he didn't want her to be at grandpa's garden (he is still bit by the jealous bug).

Finally Creete decided that if Emersyn was not going away that he might wanna hold her. I still have memories of her face first trip off his lap though and he gets supervized visitation:)



I guess it is kind of a love hate relationship. Seriously though--look at the form this kid has--hand behind the head and everything!!!

Dad is still convinced that she is ready to walk any day now, so they got a few laps in. I just had to sit back and enjoy and pretend that she was not ruining her cute little pink boots--which were not really made for walking in the garden!!



I love my Creete man--I just hope some day he decides to love his cousin Emersyn too.


I am slowly getting ready for the cold weather. I have found one thing though that I actually miss about being pregnant--I was not cold ALLLL last winter. I am not saying it would be worth it to be pregnant again, but it sure was nice--HAPPY AUTUMN!!
