Why I love my friends--Part 2 Marcie Koch

So---Marcie Koch--you are lucky friend #2.

Why I love Marcie:
1. She is the greatest counselor EVER!! I mean the kids love her and she actually helps them. I know that sounds crazy for a Connell High counselor, but she is GREAT!!
2. She works 24 hours a day sometimes. She does her job AND a lot of other people's too.
3. She rocks glasses. I know she wants to get eye surgery, but I really like her in glasses.
4. Marcie has a great sense of style. She is never without earrings, necklaces, the works. She is always put together and looks great.
5. Samson--she has to be great to have such a fun and cute little pooch.
6. She is a giver--She gives to Emersyn, the cheerleaders, the students, everyone. If she thinks that you will like something, she gets it for you. For example, when I was pregnant she would bring me dark chocolate treats just because she knew I would like them.
7. She knows all about restaraunts, stores, etc. SOOOO if you don't know whether you want to try something, you can just ask her. She knows it all! she also knows what to order--good taste.
8. She is a family gal. She spends lots of time with them and they have lots of good times together.
9. ORGANIZATION--she is the most organized person I have ever met. Her office, her life, her files--everything. I love it because I am not so much organized and she keeps me on track.
10. Super human memory skills. She remembers everyone's birthday. Even people from high school. I am lucky to remember my own, but she never forgets. I think that is so cool.
11. She is a great youth group leader. SOOOO after helping kids at school, cheer practice and Jr. Miss, she goes and helps with youth group. She really relates to kids and what they need.
12. she laughs at my jokes no matter what.
13. Junior Miss--I don't even know how to explain the hours and months of time that she gives to this job. I LOVE going to our program because it is always so nice. PLUS--I have never met a girl who did not LOVE participating in Jr. Miss. That is because of Marcie and her momma (another great Koch gal that I love).
14. She got the educator award last year at graduation. Well deserved I might add--YAY Marc.
15. Marcie has the greatest handwriting ever. I love it. It makes me happy:) For those of us who are handwriting challenged, it is nice to have someone to write for us.
16. She makes the cutest homemade cards. She even makes it look easy. It is NOT, but she makes it look that way. Plus she has all the handy tools and supplies.
17. Great scrapbooing skills. So Jealous:)
18. She is the only thing that would make driving 1 hour and 1/2 hours each day worth it. We have so much fun at practice. Some times I actually think it would be fun to not have the cheerleaders there-he he. I mean they tend to interrupt our conversations and cause problems.
19. She is REALLY nice. Not just some times, but all the time. I don't even think she has to try, she is just not mean. Plus, she knows just about every person in Connell and is nice to them all.
20. Todd said to mention that she is my better half besides my husband. I hope that sounds complimenty--I know this is not a word, but it should be!! AND...she love Mei Lings as much as I do and is always willing to go there to eat with me.

Thanks for being such a good friend. I would not have made it through last year without you. I had a great time at inservice, practice, games, state, you name it. I am glad we all decided to come back to Connell. I hope you have a better week this week. Love YA!!
