SOOO BIG

My little girl is getting SOOOO big!! Thanks to Franny she got her first taste of food--cantaloupe--isn't that every kids first food?? I love Fran because she isn't afraid to try things. If it was up to me, Emersyn would still be swaddled all day and would have claws because I wouldn't clip her fingernails. BUT--Fran convinces me that she will like new things and she has always been right. I got to shop with Amy and eat lunch with Amy and Fran. THANKS GUYS. It was nice to get out of the house and have some girl talk time. PLUS Red Robin--who can complain about that???

Emersyn is not REAL thrilled with the cold weather. It hinders her fun. Now she has to wear a hat and gloves to go for a walk. She HATES when I cover her hands, but the mittens did keep her busy for most of the walk. She is just lucky that I didn't have her in her snow suit:)

I thought this was so funny. She was on the verge of sleep, but wouldn't give it up.

These next pictures are for Marcie and Marilee. Nobody else cares that my daughter now drinks out of a sippy cup, but let me tell you that this was a big deal in our house. Now she just wants to drink ALL day.

And YES she is naked. Neither one of us have gotten the hang of eating cereal yet and it is just easier to strip her down first.

Does she not look like such a big girl???? You put a pair of fake jeans on a kid and they look two months older:)


Not a lot new at our house this week. This Friday is the little cheer clinic. I love to see the little tiny cheerleader girls. Wednesday Todd and I are headed to Phantom of the Opera--Can't wait. Emersyn is staying with Grandma Marilee. This will be the longest I have left her. It feels wierd, like leaving my arm behind. Will it get easier??? I am not worried about her--I mean she will be playing with her Grandma, but it just feels strange. We'll see if there are any tears (from me--not her).
