Well all of the Christmas excitement is over and the tree is back in the box, but my house is still a disaster. Our house looks like a Toys-R-Us actually. I guess I should just get used to it looking this way until Emersyn graduates from high school:) We had a fun Christmas and Emersyn actually enjoyed it more than I thought she would. I will warn you ahead of time--there are lots of pictures!!
Our family at Grandma June's house on Christmas Eve. Lucky for you that my camara was on a weird setting on Christmas Eve and my pictures all turned out crummy.
I thought that Emersyn would not care at all about opening presents, but she actually was pretty excited to get some new stuff. For a while her favorite thing was a pair of princess keys that she got in her stocking, but then she realized there WERE bigger and better things. Like piggy slippers!!
Even among all of the presents she was still pretty excited about reading a storybook with her dad.
Grandma Marilee Santa got her this cute little chair and for some unknown reason, she has been chewing on it ever since.
She also had some good times with her little people nativity from Amy. She liked the camel and Jesus the best.
Even with all of the new cool (and pretty expensive) stuff---her all time favorite was still the packages, bows, ribbons, tissue, and wrapping paper.
My favorite gift was her pony from Santa. She found it in Costco one day and fell in love with it. She petted it, hugged it, and chewed on it. SO we bought it. NOW she is not a huge fan, but maybe some day.
After all of the Christmas day excitement, she crashed out with her dad. I think that means she had a good Christmas:)

Looks like a great Christmas with alot of pictures! The chair and ottoman are way cute. I enjoyed the family picture at your Grnadmas......she is totally us in 50 years!:)
