Speaking of Marcie, she came over yesterday and delivered Christmas fun. Emersyn got to open her very first Christmas present. She wasn't REAL into it, but she tolerated it. Thanks Marcie for the gifts. Emersyn loves her drum. Amazingly I am not sick of the music YET. Maybe soon though:)
Marcie also gave me (and Todd) a beautiful cross-stich. Go check it out on her blog. I love it and already picked out a spot for it on the wall. Marcie maybe you can trade stiching lessons for sewing lessons:) I used to try to do cross-stich but they never turned out good. I think it is my lack of patience. Thank you Thank you!!
Since I know you all are always on the edge of your seats wondering what is new with my kid, here is her update:) This is how she likes to watch tv now. She thinks that all shows are interactive. So one corner of my tv is nice and dusted. By the way...don't you love her outfit. There is actually a reason for her looking like a wal-mart baby. When I got back from my night out with Marcie, Todd (who had done a great job watching Emersyn) had put Emersyn to bed. He was pretty impressed with the fact that she was in bed and had stayed in bed. That may not seem like much to most parents, but more than 2 consecutive hours of sleeping is like a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!! Anyway...I went in to check on her and noticed she was in her onsie. So I came out and asked Todd why he hadn't put her into pjs. He said she had been too tired for a bath and so he had just given her a bottle and put her to bed. Little did I know, there was more to it than that. When she woke up around midnight, I went to get her and found her not only in her onsie, but also still in her tights. SO then I got a little curious and checked her diaper. Apparently she had been really tired because she didn't get her clothes changed, a bath, OR a diaper change. I asked Todd if he had ever worn tights. I got a dirty look and then informed him that sleeping in tights is NOT comfortable--even for babies. So now that you got our life story--the reason for this outfit is because at midnight I just found the warmest most comfortable pants I could find and tried to get Emersyn back to sleep. Why are boys so funny about babies???? He did a good job, but I think HE should have to wear tights to bed next time.
I AM planning to leave the house soon, but if anyone is in the neighborhood, come on by. It has been a pajama party at my house for about a week now, so don't get dressed up first:)

she means...stop by if you have 4 wheel drive and can make it to her house... :) it's hard to get around in her neighborhood!
Jess - it was fun to see you & Emersyn yesterday...hopefully we'll make it to the Tri-Cities again before we go to Chelan and maybe we can do lunch. I'm glad you like your cross-stitch. I think it's my favorite one of all I've done and I'm glad it has a good home! :)
Merry Christmas!
Lady you can cross stich. I still have the bibs you made Kade and he never used them because I thought they were keepsakes! Merry Christmas!
