One last glimpse of the Oregon Coast

Well there is not much else to tell about our trip to Seaside. Amy and I did some major shopping at the outlets and the boys had a boys day and went golfing. At one point Amy and I were in the dressing room--not trying anything on--just sitting there enjoying the time without kids. We both just laughed, but it was SOOO nice to shop without strollers and kids.

We played in the waves and at the arcade. I think Em is well on her way to wanting to go to Chuck E Cheeses---she thought the games were pretty cool--even though her balls usually went down the other peoples aisle--oops:)

Like I said before, the weather was fantastic. I have never been able to enjoy the sun and the sand---usually it is windy and rainy. The last day was hilarious. We decided to just let Em go down to the water one last time pantsless instead of dealing with the wet pants. She took off for the water, but decided that her diaper was really holding her back--So she dropped it. We were looking white trash enough, so I went with it. I was not aware that I would be QUITE so embarrassed to have a bare butted kid playing in the ocean.

Trust me--this is the good view. She kept putting her ostrich head into the sand and giving a full back view to all of the innocent bystanders:) I think her dad was more embarrassed than I was.

The boys got cleaning duty too, and got the joys of the beach bath--what good sports!! This was our big goodbye to the ocean before heading back to the million degree weather.
It was for sure a good year and it seems that all trips are getting more fun as Emersyn gets older. I cannot wait for each trip to be better, more exciting and more fun. Like next year I am ready for the bumper cars, water boats, arcade, etc. Sorry Wieselers--I think you are gonna have to go back again next year:)
