We have been having some SUPER busy weekends around here...it seems like our weekends have just been jam packed with fun activities and events. FIRST off-- a couple weeks ago I participated in my first big event with my Paparazzi. I went to the Indoor Garage Sale at the TRAC and had a blast. I got to use my NEW display boards for the first time and they ROCKED!!!! I have been working on MAKING them for LOTS of weekends and FINALLY got them all finished. What did I do differently???
If you look closely, all of the boards are framed. Those frams close up like a book (I attached hinges) annd then they lock tight (I also attached a lock). AND ONE MORE THING...they have handles (on the advice of MS. Connie Koch I used drawer pulls). It is exciting stuff. Now all of the jewelry is safe inside when I travel and I can pack up in MINUTES!!! PLUS I got to use saws and drills and cool tools like that....I am basically Sarah Palin now!!!
I discovered a new use for my basket too...it was a great display for my new headbands!!!

It was SUPER fun. Franny came over to help me out. We got to sit and chat...sell some jewelry...and shop the other yard sales. Win Win!!!
We also had a retirement party for my mom. After OVER 20 years with North Franklin and another 10 years with Pasco, my mom has finally decided to retire. Marilee gave her this sleeping mask for all of her new "free" time:)
She also got this fan...so that Grandma June can sit next to her on the couch and fan her all day long...haha!! I told Grandma that she was going to be put to work now:)
For some reason I forgot to take too many pictures, but I got this cute one of Justin and Kelly...I guess I will have to catch everyone else on the 4th.
It was a fun day. We had food and family and fun...all the good F's!!! The kids enjoyed the warm weather and MOM got to be the star....FOR ONCE!!
PHEW...as if that were not enough, we had THIS WEEKEND. I had another Paparazzi event this weekend, but we got rained out. BUMMER!!! After setting up and selling for about an hour the clouds started rolling in...THEN we had a down pour. SOO no pictures of my first OUTDOOR event. I guess I may stick with INDOORS from now on!!
But the weekend wasn't a total loss. Jenny called and asked if I wanted to get a pedicure with her...HECK YA!!! Well my girlie sidekick wanted to come along too...actually I asked if she wanted to come with me to get a pedicure and she jumped up and down and said YES YES YES. Then she stopped and said...what IS a pedicure mom??? Cracks me up!!
She thought it was silly to soak her feet in the water. WHICH I guess is true since her feet are soft like a babies bum still. Just wait until she gets ugly cracked old lady feet!!
She wanted to be comfortable I guess....she also wanted Jen to make her chair Vibe-ER-ate. Then once it started she sat and shook for about a minute and then wanted the Vibe-ER-ate OFF!!!
Even without warm sunny weather we are enjoying our summer so far....Bring it on Fourth of July...we are ready to party!!!
