OK---so looking back on our cruise makes me realize JUST HOW MUCH STUFF we crammed into each day. I am surprised my kids survived as well as they did:) Day 2 was PACKED with activities.
AND it was Emersyn's PERFECT day!! Let's just call it Princess--Palooza!! We stood in line for A LONG TIME to get to see the Princesses. We didn't know it was such a BIG DEAL until we got in line, but man oh man...HUGE!!! First they announced the princesses and they came down the stairway...I am 32 years old and I had tears in my eyes. LAME I know, but it was a magic moment.
Emersyn got to meet and talk to each of the princesses and was SOOOO HAPPY!!!
SNOW WHITE was my favorite. She had the voice, the actions...AMAZING. I think I had a Princess crush on her for sure!!! WELL as if that was not Princess-ey enough we went to a BALL. Not even kidding. First they got some princess lessons....they even learned how to dance a little bit.
AND THEN...Cinderella arrived to help with their training!! Yep...you guessed it...little tears.
She taught them how to waltz....Emersyn was a little too tired to REALLY get into it...but her hands were waltzing:)
Em also made a new friend...MULAN. They danced together and played dress up and hung out for a couple hours...AND NEVER FOUND OUT EACH OTHERS NAMES...I love little kids.
After learning about being a princess...WE MET THE QUEEN!!! Seriously Minnie Mouse is THE GREATEST!!!
AND Minnie in a ball gown...SUPER CUTE!!
That is ONE CLASSY MOUSE:)
As if Princesses, and dancing, and Minnie are not enough--That night was DRESS UP night. SOOO we all got dolled up and headed to dinner. And what do you feed a 1 year old in a white sweater vest???? A Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bar of course:) FINALLY something on the ship that Ethan LOVED!!!
Well at least it kept him happy for a few minutes. THEN he went back to his normal crying, un-happy, self.
My Two BOYS!!
After dinner there was ONCE AGAIN some family dancing. And LUCKY us we ran into Mulan again. The kids had instruments and A BLAST!!!
Ethan was SOOO pooped that I got to do A LOT of dancing with him too:)
They were having sooo much fun that they EVEN DANCED WITH EACH OTHER:)
I am not sure...but I think I see some rock and roll in his future!!
Ethan taught the bigger kids how to do the WORM. I think he was just to tired to dance on his feet, but everyone followed along:)
All of this dancing added up to ONE thing. Tired Kids!!! Emersyn ASKED if we could go home and go to bed. SOOO instead of going to the show...we headed back to the room. We ended up watching the THE GOLDEN MICKIES in our room on the TV. Not quiet as cool as watching a LIVE show in a beautiful theater...BUT it worked for the littles (and Todd who was asleep before them for the 2nd night in a row).
PHEWWW!!! I am tired just REMEMBERING all of the things we did on our vacation!!!
