Disney On Ice

 A week or so after getting home from our cruise we decided to take Emersyn to Disney on Ice.  WHY would we do that???  Well 3 reasons actually.  1 because we knew she would love it.  2 because there was no Rapunzel on the cruise and Rapunzel is her absolute favorite.  And 3 because Emersyn is SUPER JEALOUS of her little brother and we thought it would be a good EMERYN date night. 

 

Emersyn had actually been begging to go for a LONG time.  She saw the commercials and talked about if for weeks and weeks.  She kept saying "mommy I would REALLY love to go and see Rapunzel on Ice."  or "Mommy I think if you really loved me you would take me to see Disney on Ice."  Nothing like a good guilt trip right???  Then she found out Gracee and Delaney were going and she flipped.  We wanted to keep it a secret, but she thought we were SOOO MEAN for not taking her.  People would ask her if she was going and she would get all pouty and tell them NO, but my bets friends are going.  It was quite pathetic.  THEN on the day of the event, I told her I had a big surprise for her and that Daddy and me were going to take her on a special date.  She said..."I would rather stay home with Grandma..maybe you can take Ethan instead." 

NOT THE RESPONSE I WAS HOPING FOR!!!

She finally decided she would go, but was NOT thrilled about it.  SOOOO we took her to dinner and then drove over to the Toyota Center.  When we got there she said she still had no clue what her surprise was.  SOOO I got into the back of the car and grabbed her Rapunzel dress and told her to put it on because we were going to see DISNEY ON ICE.  She looked A LITTLE excited, but said she would rather just wear what she had on.  The whole thing was LESS DRAMATIC than I thought it would be, but I guess I should know Emersyn by now!!!

ANYWAY...once we got in there she got more and more excited...Then we found our seats and it got even cooler.  Todd had bought us tickets in the VERY front row...like 2 feet from the ice.  It was awesome (and a bit chilly). 

 

 We were all super excited to see THESE two again!! 

There were LOTS of super cool effects, but I really liked Cinderella's carriage. 

 We enjoyed Tiana in Princess and the Frong and Cinderella, but our favorite was of course Rapunzel.  Maximus was pretty stinking cool!!

 Rapunzel was cute as can be and made Emersyn VERY happy. 

 AND I think we can ALL agree that the parts where they flew through the air were the GREATEST!!!  I mean who DOESN'T dream of swinging around on SUPER long hair? :)

 Emersyn's was SOOO excited when ALL of the princesses came out at the end....EVEN Mulan. 

 It was a SUPER fun date night with Emersyn...our super cute, slightly silly, always funny, surprisingly sweet little girl!!1
