San Diego--Part 2

I am still plugging away at this blog.  I need to get it all updated by the end of the year so that I can get my blog book printed out.  SOOO that is my goal.  I better get crackin!!  OK...so back to Disney Cruise.  Our second to the last day was spent in San Diego.  After an awesome morning with Shamu at Sea World and some LONG naps when we got back, we had an evening of PIRATES!!!  Our awesome house cleaner made us a cute little monkey for our room...every time we came to our room there was a different animal.  Here we have Gorilla Emersyn and Ethan the monkey boyy:)

That night was Pirate night.  We had pirate dinner, pirate entertainment, and pirate activities. 

I think getting our pirate suits on MAY have been the most fun part...

The elevator was Emersyn and Ethan's FAVORITE thing on the ship.  They would both RUN to the buttons and PUSH PUSH PUSH!!  Once Ethan ran OUT of the elevator to push the button again and we almost left him behind...SCARY!!!

We finally found a character that Ethan was not terriefied of...Who Knew????  I guess since Peter Pan is a kid at heart....

We had one small problem with PIRATE NIGHT.  It didn't REALLY get started until 10:00...which is about an hour and  a half LATER than our kids were used to staying up.  So after our dinner (at 6:00), we had to find ways to keep the kids entertained.  So we wondered around the different cool parts of the ship,

We headed to our favorite spot...the kids club.

We went sailing:)

We tried to burn off some of Ethan's extra energy.

And then by the time the pirate activities were getting started...the kids were too pooped to care:(  I pretty much held Ethan and Todd held Emersyn and we swayed to the dance music, clapped along with the shows, and tried to keep everyone awake.  Then somewhere along the lines my camara got switched into a weird setting and all of my pictures were blurry for a day or so...just be warned!!

Captain Hook and Smee made an appearance...taking over the ship.

Then Mickey slid down from the top of the ship and saved the day.  It was super cute and exciting and the kids KINDA had fun with it. 

AND FINALLY what we had all been waiting for...FIRE WORKS!!!  We were all so relieved when they were over and we could FINALLY get some sleep!!! 

We LOVED San Diego!!!  Emersyn especially because she got a new BARB!!!  Yep that would be SEA WORLD Barbie and her Shamu friends.  And YEP that is one HAPPY Emersyn!!!
