SANNNN Diego!!

 ok..so I have to preface this post by saying that I have wanted to go to Sea World for MY WHOLE LIFE!!!  If we were going to do ONE thing on this trip, it HAD to be Sea World.  I was SOOOO beyond excited to see the whales, dolphins and fishes.  SOOOO excited. 

 I think our favorite spot was watching the sea turtles. 

 The big daddy grandpa turtle was our favorite.  HE WAS HUGE!!! 

 Emersyn's LEAST favorite spot...the sharks. She was terrified to go inside...I am not sure what she expected.  But the dark and the sharks...it was tooo much for her. 

 We were so happy to finally have warm weather.  We were frozen in San Francisco, cold at sea, and kinda grumpy.  BUT San Diego was like paradise....warm and cozy!! 

 Two of our favorites...the flamingo parade going through the park...and the penguins. 

 The kids favorite part....cheetos. I told them they could chose ONE thing in the shop that I would buy them...they chose chips.  What the heck???  I guess cute plush dolphins are not for everyone:)

 AND OF COURSE the all time best part was the whale show.  Who does not love those big giant beauties??? 

 It was JUST as great as I had always imagined!!! 

 The biggest disappointment at SeaWorld...Elmo's World.  Emersyn was in LOVE with Elmo for years.  Ethan only knows 1 tv show and 3 words...AND Elmo is one!!  BUT when we went into Elmo's World and SAW Elmo and Cookie Monster...NEITHER of my kids would go and have their picture taken with him.  What???  Ethan was tooo scared and Emersyn said that she had already seen him in real life.  I guess when you live on a ship with Princess and Mickey Mouse Elmo is old news!!!  Ethan DID enjoy the kid's zone though.  It was amazing...a padded room...YES PLEASE!!!  Why do I not have one at my house????

 Emersyn and daddy got to go into the BIG kid's zone.  When did she grow up??  Seriously!! 

 She was one happy little (big) girl!!! 

 Ethan on the other hand was one TIRED little boy.  The kids got a refillable cup and drank GALLONS of fruit punch while we were there.  Ethan latched onto that cup and WOULD NOT let go.  About 5 seconds into the cab ride he pooped out...literally just dropped off to sleep while drinking his fruit punch. 

 AND he DID NOT let it go.  Todd had to pry it out of his hands when we got back to the ship.  If you know Ethan you KNOW that he does NOT just fall asleep.  He needs the right place, temperature, blanket, and snuggles.  He needs the stars to align and the world to go silent and to be in the absolute perfect position.  For him to fall asleep on his own...Now THAT is a sign of a successful trip.  PLUS he slept through the cab ride, he slept while Todd got him out of the car and walked back to the ship.  He slept through security and up the gang plank. He slept up the elevator, back to our room, and for THREE hours after we got back.  I think the whales were all HE had dreamed about too:)
