Post Vacation Post

 SOOO it has been months since we have been home from California, but we are still living in a Disney Cruise DAZE.  Almost every day the words Disney Cruise come up in our conversations.  LIKE...when can we go on another Disney Cruise??   OR...remember when we were on the cruise and we got to eat donuts for breakfast??  Well I guess when you do something THAT fun, it is hard to come down from the high...we are working on it:) 

 The day after we got home, Emersyn had to get back to reality and go to school.  Of course she had get all MOUSED up and have a little photo shoot:)  Ethan didn't want to be ignored either...

 He was DETERMINED to have his picture taken too!!!

 

 He even went and grabbed himself some clothes so that I would take his picture...FUNNY KID!!!

 A few days later we got to go on a field trip with Emersyn's class.  That morning Emersyn told me..."Mom, you know this is my very first field trip RIGHT???  It is kinda a big deal!!!"  She was so excited!!  They got to go to Preston Winery and have a picnic. 

 YEP...she had to take THIS guy along too:)

 Then they got to pick out a pumpkin and carve it.  I am SOOO glad that Todd got to come because carving pumpkins is not my favorite. 

 Emersyn was not SUPER in love with the yucky stuff either!!

 Her and her dad worked hard to get her pumpkin JUST right.  She knew EXACTLY what she wanted.  Ethan REALLY wanted to help too.  He kept Mom (she got to come along too) on our toes.  He found every stray knife and tool that got set down for one second. HE IS ALL BOY!!!

AND finally the finished product...eyebrows and everything.  Emersyn thought it FOR SURE needed to have eye brows:)

 I think she was happy with the results of  her VERY FIRST field trip!!! 

 Ethan however was not QUITE done with HIS field trip.  He followed the big kids out into a nearby potatoe field to dig up spuds.  He also found THE ONLY muddy water hole in the WHOLE field.  Then he got down on his stomach (while all of the little girls watched him and laughed) and started sucking up the dirty ditch water out of the circle track and then spitting it at the girls.  NOT EVEN KIDDING!!  He is going to be SUPER fun when he is in Junior High huh?

YEP...that is his dad leading him back by the hood.  He was MUCH dirty than this picture shows.  He was WET, MUDDY, and HAPPY!!!!
